Probably not... But it does look cool... Will it make AZ a winning program? No... Is it necessary? No... Do they really need it? Probably not... Is it a waste of money? Probably so... All that said It would be a striking building...

It's supposed to look like a giant rattle snake, which suits Arizona. I saw a program about it's contstruction on the Discovery channel. The field is natural grass and it suspended on a rail system allowing the field to slide out from under the building in one piece into the open air for sun and watering.

On game day, it's rolled back into the stadium and the roof can be opened or shut (depending on the weather.) The roof itself it a super strong fabric, not metal that can support like 1000lbs per square foot. They showed the workers literally bouncing on it as they walked across the roof on the program.

Pretty unique design, I think. Definitely one of a kind.

arizona has a chance to actually make the playoffs this year. they'll have a killer offense, the question is can they get together some form of a defense.

There are no pics for the new cowboy stadium yet. The one's in circulation now are designs for what the stadium would have looked like sitting along side the Trinity River in downtown Dallas... the original planned location. When the Cowboys announced the move to Arlington, they scrapped that design and are redoing it. From what I have heard, it will be more of a classic "retro" look so it will blend in more with Ameriquest Field.
