hey for all of those people who tailgate for their highschool football games. i need some info on like what u should bring and what not etc...
i allways liked this idea it would have definetley killed some time waiting for the judson games to start.
Also for those dedicated judson fans who always go early maybe we should start this for ourselves.... hit me with some feed back.

a grill makes a fine place to start. brauts or burgers are always welcome. chips and hot sauce will get you started. pre-prepare what ever you bring, and generally plenty of ice, plasticware and trash bags are necessary. once cooler weather hits, chili or gumbo hits the spot. with a big pan of cornbread, you've done everyone right by their tummies. dangit, i'm getting hungry just thinking about it. i think some of your fans already do the t-ging thing. i remember bullrock talking about it last year.

I wouldnt bring beer. Most school districts tend to frown on that.
Depending on how much time you want to spend, nothing beats smoking a pork roast and making pulled pork BBQ sandwhiches. You also cant go work with good old fashion burgers and dogs with plenty of chips, dips and soda.

I think it's gonna be too hot in the parking lot at Shotwell on Aug 27th...I may burn too much gas & take my old RV with it's blessed generator & AC & get ready fot the game in the chill....!

All schools frown on the beer. Its a Texas state law that you can not possess any alcohol on school grounds. Copperas Cove has some good tailgate parties for our fans. Before every game including the away ones and playoff games.

For what it's worth, there will be a big tailgate party at Shotwell between the SLC/Lee game and the AHS/Monty game. Should be a lot of fun.

If you don't have beer, you are not tailgating. You are just eating
some food and waiting on a game to start. C'mon people....didn't you
read your handbooks?
Best tailgating fans-----
Wrigley field Chicago ( saw it in person....29 degrees, snow falling...and they are drinking freakin' beer and screamin' Cubbbbbbieeeees)
Colorado Buffaloes---OMG be careful...you might not make it to the game.
Packers fans----'nuff said
UT at Austin---legendary tailgate parties...and the best part is when it's over and you get to see the 'Horns play.
Escambia High School, Pensacola,FL.----music blaring,bar-b-que and everything from gin and juice, hurricanes, and lots of cold beer) plus it's Emmitt's high school. I loved it!
HON. MENT.
LSU
ou (but they still suck)
Va. Tech----weird food
Worst tailgaters
Baylor---you could hear crickets
Astros fans---they are playing in the NLCS...who died? why is everybody so quiet?

Depends on which HS kids you want to see. If you wanted to see the 88 or 89 Carter Cowboys...jail would be a good starting point.
