DR willl be good..how good? We might get a preview when they play Abilene early in the season. Joflo always has them ready...& they will hit you. The games we had with them were always a "big game atmosphere"

A pair of seniors out of Schertz Clemens that will run thru defenses all year will be JJ Johnson and Randall Reese.

I'd measure those guys run routs all over 4A, especially the south Texas area and then make a strong push for a 4A state title.

Jacquizz Rodgers from Lamar Consolidated high school. He is the nephew(I think) of Eagles saftey Micheal Lewis...these are his numbers he put up this year as a SOPHMORE:

293 carries 2276yds 33TD's.

Jared Salubi from Waco is a junior and is a D-1 prospect already.

His back-up will be Louis Fite's son........who will be a sophomore.

Yeah especially with our RB Chase Wilke coming back next year and he's a junior right now.

Yeah that is so true Seguin. He has so much power that in the playoff game against CC Callalen last year a bunch of guys were trying to bring him down but all of them failed and Wilke ended up going for a long TD run.

Yeah I agree that everyone should have an answer and I don't mind 4A threads anyway. I know that this is a 5a board but it would hurt to mention 4A a little bit.

That Stephens kid outa McAllen is pretty good. Then there's that Newton fella out of SLC. I here ol' Minor from Westlake could have a big year too.

Wait a miniute, I'm talkin' about 5A backs because this is a 5A board! That's what I want to see and talk about, not some kid out of Cleburne or Port Neches!

Go hijiack some other board, or take some time and start your own 4A board.

The only 4A back I know is from the newly added 4A school Huffman. Running back Carl Herrington will be decent. Only thing that will be a problem will be him fumbling the ball often. Supposedly they are going to have a good offensive line and a stellar qb.

Cove has a RB that picked up 700 yards behind Buckrams 1500 and Garners 900. He is just as fast as Buckram as well
