West Monroe has a new QB in senior Steven Ensminger, the son of the Auburn TE coach. He has offers from Auburn, Miami, South Carolina, and Louisiana Tech.

No word yet on whether Ensminger has been cleared to play by the LHSAA. He moved back to West Monroe with his mother after playing in a shotgun-type offense for Opelika (AL). West Monroe is well-known as a conservative option-style team that doesn't throw often.

It's been a while since I looked at their roster, but from what I remember the team seemed fairly small overall. I was looking a the 2004 roster. Is there a 2005 roster on the Rebel website yet? If not can you list some of WM key players? That QB sounds like a pretty good player, you would think he would make sure that he could play football before he moved back to WM.

Any news on if this game is still scheduled for FSN that day...Havent heard anything for about 5 months now (Lord that flew by)

Is this the same guy that was slated to be the QB or is this a new guy?

New guy slated for QB; the other candidates for the position will be sophomores, so this could be very big for WM.
