Katy opponents, PLEASE!?
I don't care about dates and times right now, just opponents and the order we play them.

A&M Consolidated
You know the district slate. Not positive of the order, but of course Morton Ranch is on the schedule this year.

Okay, so if Cy Falls doesn't have a game on the same night, I would LOVE to go to the Katy/A&M Cons. game - do any of you Katy people know how someone other than a Tiger fan will be able to get a couple of tickets to what I'm sure will be a sold out game?

The home side will likely be sold out, but I'm sure you can get a ticket if you put in a word with some of your newfound football friends! :)

Thanks,
I'll be there for A&M Consolidated. How good will The Woodlands be this year? Judson plays Kerrville Tivy that week.

I'm sure one of the seasoned ticket holders will help out especially if you make it to the tailgate before the game. I'll save you a burger.

No, I'll be there to watch Katy beat A&M Consolidated. That Woodlands game looks like it will be a good one, too.

There's no way I'll cheer for AMC. I don't even cheer for them in their own district. I would root for them over most of Houston, though.

Yeah well, you look better in red anyway.

You KNOW I'm not rooting against Katy in that game.
1. I root for Judson.
2. I root for 26-5A.
3. I like Region 4.
4. I have a soft spot for West Texas.
5. I've always liked Longview.
6. Katy is my favorite team in Houston.
7. I like to see underdogs/unranked teams win.

I'm holding you to that burger! Hold the pickles:) I'll scout around once the Cy Falls schedule comes out...I would love to see that one. It will probably be a playoff atmosphere in a pre-season game.

I guess I'm now kinda curious as to what it is exactly that you dislike about our program? We play tough, we play by the rules, we don't taunt, we play the game the way it's supposed to, we spread the ball around the field, we execute the kicking game, we have a propensity for comebacks, our games are usually pretty exciting...
So what exactly did we do to tick you off? Enquiring minds want to know.... :)
Tiger Maroon versus Tiger Red! We all know red and maroon just clash!
The thing I like about this game is that when two good teams clash, you get to find out where your weaknesses are. I just wish the bye week was after this game, not before.

In that game, I won't root for ACM because I'm rooting for Katy for obvious reasons.
It's not that I hate you guys, but it's that there are other teams in that district that I would rather win. I'd rather see Bryan or Temple win than you guys. I will root for you guys over Waco (when they were 5A), against Cove, and maybe some others.
Why do you guys call it ACM when it should be AMC? If it's because of ATM, I have to ask why since you don't want to be linked to the university.

AMC is a tough team to play because of their style. With nearly everyone running the spread now, preparing for a flexbone team is tricky business. You better have linebackers that can come up and make plays otherwise you'll be chasing all game long. Obviously, it's a benefit if you've played them before and know something about what you can expect. However, it's definitely not something you see every day in the current football landscape and that makes it a challenge to play against.

Man...I get all nostalgic seein' Klein on the schedule again. GREAT memories of that series, unfortunately the most vivid was wondering if Mike Green was EVER gonna graduate from there.

They make the "C" larger than the A and the M.
I'm sure it goes back to A&M somehow. There's a big C on my son's letter jacket. Most folks around here just refer to it as Consol.

I really saw that in the Woodlands playoff game. The issue "appeared" to be by the 2nd half, no one knew where the ball was going on their defense. The O-line of ACM has some interesting blocking schemes. Someone is pulling just about every play. Sometimes, multiple guys pulling. It's tough on the defensive tackles. I don't think most DT's see this kind of movement on the line. This is probably out of necessity as ACM o-line guys are traditionally never overally huge; mostly good sized, athletic, quick athletes.
Now take that basic offense and toss in some effective pass plays. It's a lot of fun for the fans to watch.
I'm looking forward to the Katy game. It ought to be a good one.
