Last year's fight for the postseason wasn't decided til the season's final week-
should we expect the same again?

The only team I am familiar with is Lake Highlands. I think they will be much improved and will be a tough team to beat this year, especially at home. I think they made it to the area round last year. Plus if they do well makes Longview look better since we play them every year.

I see this district pretty much a repeat of last year.

1. Berkner
2. Jesuit
3. Lake Highlands

Berkner and Jesuit shared the title last year. Don't know that much about Jesuit but Berkner will return the QB (JR) Justin Johnson who was new comer of the year for that district last and Berkner has a pretty highly recruited DE in Ugo Chinasa. Johnson struggled with the passing game last year but more than made up for it with his feet. Berkner doesn't pass the ball that much so the offense fits him pretty well. Berkner also returns 2 starting LB's on defense plus another defensive lineman as well. Should be pretty solid defensively the question mark there will be the secondary. Offensively they will return almost the entire offensive line. They only lost one lineman to graduation. The have shoes to fill at TE and RB. Like I said they don't pass much so recievers are pretty much decoys anyway.

Berkner beat Skyline in bi-district last and got blown out by Tyler Lee. These guys are pretty much newcomers to the playoffs and haven't really learned how win in those type of games. They've beaten Lake Highlands the last two years in a row in games that weren't all that close. They use to be in the Plano/Allen district. Made the playoffs their last year in that district and got blownout by Carter.

i'm with Eagle..good prediction......if only Lake Highlands would play their ENTIRE district like they play us every year, they would be unstoppable. guess they hate us redneck, poor folk a little more than metroplex teams--LOL...we tend to bring out the best in them......................
