Not bad. Right now, the Cowboys could have put a mule on the field as a kicker and would have done a better job than the previous ones. The signing of Vanderjagt (or any decent kicker) was desperately needed by the Cowboys. Hope he doesn't dwell on that shanked kick that was done in the playoffs.

He is a very good signing for a 3 year deal seeing that he is the most accurate kicker in the NFL.

He still missed the biggest kick in a home Playoff game ever though.

Yeah I think he is not very accurate during the playoffs though.

You're right about that, but I heard some stats on The Ticket on Thursday on The Throwdown or Norm's show. Did you know that over the last 6 years, Vandy is 89% outdors and Vinatieri (sp) is only 80%. I mean 80% is great, but Vandy is actually as good outdoors as indoors.

Yeah the Colts could have used his foot against Pittsburgh and then they would have been in the Super Bowl.

I agree, but let's end this discussion now........do you want Vanderjagt or any of the kickers Dallas has had over the last two years? Now do you see my real point?

Exactly you go from sorry ole Billy Cundiff & Jose Cortez for the 2nd best kicker in the league(Vinatieri the best). I think Dallas got the better end of that deal.
