It was reported on ESPN that Leslie Frazier will be the head coach at Minnesota next year removing the interim designation. How can they do that without interviewing potential coaches of other races first?

I am told that Jerry can't do that with Garrett until he interviews minority coaches for the position.

The Rooney Rule says you have to interview at least one minority candidate... if they gave Frazier an interview, they were covered.

They hired from within......do you want them to interview a tomato can like other insincere owners do when they have the guy they want in place already?

My point is this, Jerry Jones cannot remove the interim tag from Jason Garrett until he interviews a minority candidate. See the double standard?

I really don't know that that is a fact in this situation.
I know that's the case if a guy is removed at the end of the season.
It sucks if you are correct in what you are saying.

That is just what has been said on all the sports programs. The sad thing is, some of the top coaches in the NFL are black so I am not sure why there has to be the Rooney rule. To me I would want the best candidate to be my coach. I wouldn't care if he was purple if he makes my team a winner.

I agree....maybe the rule has played out it's time.
There was a time it was needed IMO.

I do agree on that. People talk about wanting Cowher to coach the cowboys. I would rather have Mike Tomlin. JMO

Not to disagree, but he isn't on the market. Cowher is.
