Is that the same Webb who played for 4a Montgomery HS? If it's the same one, I remember watching him play Oak Ridge a few years ago. He was like a man among boys. Is it the same one?

Maybe.
HIjack warning!
Did you see Andrew Luck make the tackle on the DB that intercepted one of his passes? Luck looked like a LB and lowered the boom on the DB. Impressive.

love that! It falls right in there when the kicker does the same thing (Cade Foster and Buehller(sp?) come to mind).
He has got to be a leading candidate for the Heisman next year....

He'll get drafted high for sure.
He does it again.

Of course, if he tries this in the NFL he will have a short career but it's fun to watch now.

Webb was very impressive last night and last week too. Don't remember him at UAB too much - but they made bowl games if I recall.
Thanks for the link - not the same guy as he played HS ball in 'Bama.

Nope, not unless the Joe Webb from Montgomery grew past 5'11" and got lighter skin. Same name and way different players!

My bad. The kid I'm talking about is Xavier Webb, former Montgomery HS qb and now plays DB for Rice.
