Nice to see John Skelton getting a shot and actually pulling out a win against the Cowboys. He is a rookie QB out of Fordham University but came out of El Paso,Tx a few years ago. He wanted to go to Texas Tech but never really got looked at because Texas Tech was all over Graham Harrell and no other D-1A program really offered.
He went to Fordham and broke several passing records and worked himself into a NFL draft pick this past draft and now he is getting a shot.
On the flip side.. Stephen McGee came in for the Cowboys and actually played pretty solid also. Like to see him get some starting rips.

If I were the Cowboys, I would start him next week. I mean, why not? You know what you have in Kitna (savvy veteran backup) if the Cowboys decide to bring him back. Now see what you have with McGee. Let him get all the starters reps in practice and start and see if he is capable of being your #2 QB.

Agree... they probably should of thrown McGee to the wolves a few weeks back to see what's really under the hood. Well McGee step up and show signs of being a future #1 or an annual backup caliber.
One thing is he should be thrown to the fire!
On a sidenote.. it's cool seeing Skelton because he has fought the odds since day 1 out of High school and now he just started an NFL game and beat the Cowboys.

Ha-Ha.. ya, I guess it's all how you look at it. I was pretty impressed how he handled that last drive with like 1 minute on the clock to work Arizona down into FG range.
The 4 and long pass was pretty sweet by Skelton.
Dallas does have a lot of issues to work on this off season. The sideline celebrations by the Cowboys after the McGee touchdown pass were a little to early also with over a minute on the clock. When Dallas missed that PAT and only had a 2 pt edge with over 1 minute left on the clock.....
PS. Did the Cowboys get a new FG kicker today by any chance???
