He's done one helluva job. It will be interesting to see who takes his place. For some reason, Bill Clinton has been mentioned for this job since he left office. Current Sec. of State Condoleezza Rice has also been mentioned about this job before. However, I think she may be a little busy with her current job.

No tears from me on this. I remember Tags bad mouthing the city of Houston
saying we were not a good supporter of the Oilers. Before they left for Tennessee, they were selling out every home game. It was right after that I lost my interest in the NFL. The Texans new coaching regime has revitalized that in me somewhat.

Greatest commisioner in sports. Is light years ahead of Stern and Selig... I hope we get another good one... I would hate for the sport to be ruined.

I was a little too young to remember any of that but I do not doubt it. Houston doesn't support the Rockets for crap either. For a market as big as Houston the attendace at Rockets games is (was the last time I checked) pathetic.

You should be beat half to death for even mentioning Tagliabue's name in the same sentence as Selig's. Selig is an idiot. That is all I have to say about him.

I think he has done a good job but the thing that gets me about him was when the Saints were in SA and he first said that we were a small market and he wanted them to be moved back to New Orleans. Well the crowds in Baton Rouge were nothing compared to the crowds we had down at the dome. Baton Rouge was averaging 20,000 fans while we were averaging 60,000 fans. I can respect him for his decision to move them back to New Orleans because thats where the Saints franchise was founded but I would have loved to have them here in SA.

You are right jtk. Selig is a total idiot and absolutely needs to go. I am still mad at him for calling the All-Star game a tie instead of letting them finish the game. He's a total moron and its time for a change.

Another one of his idiotic ideas was having the allstar game decide who gets homefield in the Series.

I forgot about that. That was another stupid mistake. Like I said earlier the guy is a total moron.

The sport won't be ruined, just the league.
