If you get on ESPN.com & click the college football section you will see that Rhett Bomar has received another MIP(it happened at the Hornets game this past weekend). Rhett your playing for a high profile team your business will be put on the air.

That's pretty unfortunate for Bomar. He's obviously not the only underage drinker in the United States, but I'd think he'd be smarter about it considering his profile and talent. If he can raise his game over the next three years, he'll be able to buy all the booze he wants though I wouldn't recommend trying to dodge guys like Dwight Freeney and Ray Lewis while nursing a hangover.

I don't condone underage drinking or drug use at any age, but the bottom line is that that stuff happens in college. However, when are these idiots whose faces are plastered all over TV and Sportcenter during the fall going to realize that there is a reason they have dorms and friend's houses. Don't start drinking at a freakin' NBA game where you are kind of in the public eye.

The reasons that some kids don't get caught is not because there is some vast plan among the local police to keep star football players out of troube. No, they don't get caught because they are not stupid enough to do this crap in front of God and everybody.

It amazes me how stupid some of these kids are.

Man lands on the moon.... How old is this? Is it even really news? Hardly. They didnt do anything the first time, and they wont do anything this time.

Sounds to me like he was entrapped too. He was being monitored closely. Bomar should've known better.

It happened earlier this week.

Let's see... the top returning QB in one of the nation's premiere conferences playing on one of the nation's top programs gets his second arrest for the same offense in less than 6 months. Yeah, that's kinda news. He didn't whip his ***** out in the arena and ask the girls around him to "give him a hand", but it's still news.

Happened a week ago today. It was on alot of other boards and got 5 posts at most. NOTHING happened to him the first time, and chances are NOTHING will happen this time either. That complaint later was dismissed for a lack of evidence. And why do you have to have to get so vulgar with your post? Oh nevermind, its you jtk. what the hell was I thinking?

So getting arrested and being charged with a crime twice is considered "nothing"? Only aggy... only in aggyland.

They didn't do anything the first time because he was at a house party(kinda like Cedric's incident in Midland), but this happened in an NBA game in front of a lot of people, this will be hard to get out of. He may have to pay for this ticket.

Chill Rhett I have several friends who are far ahead of you in the "MIP" department.

I know he does, that was one luxury my buddies & I had, we weren't famous, or we all would have been busted a long long time ago.

What a jackass. This guy is easily the second most famous person in Oklahoma, behind Bob Stoops. The entire state is obssessed with the Sooners and his performance. OU fans know more than just his stats... they know his height, weight, 40 time, and yes, birthday. How stupid can you be to do this at an NBA game.

It's not that he is an underage drinker. It is that he is stupid enough to break the law at a place he is BOUND to be recognized.

MIP's happen, he was an idiot about it yet he'll walk, nuff said. I wish I had gotten a slap on the wrist when I got my MIP, instead I got a punch to the face from my old man.
