If there ever was a sport that challenged football for sheer awesomeness, the Afghani national game of BuzKashi is it. How bada*** is BuzKashi?? In all seriousness, it is this bada***:
I truly don't know if Chuck Norris could win at this sport.
Read all about it HERE:

seriously stop the Chuck Norris crap.
That fad was long time ago, and it's obviously trickled down to this board.
Anyway, it looks like a gay sport, LOL.

Dude, there is no way that BuzKashi is gay. No sport that regularly kills its contestants is gay. No sport in which riders stop to bandage broken limbs and then keep playing is gay.

right....because seeing people's limbs torn off and being killed is lots of entertainment....
doesn't look nearly entertaining anyway. football has this certain spark in it, that **** just has horses lol

Pretty entertaining to me. Pretty entertaining to you too, if you ever go to the movies now.
I would rather watch a football game any day, but seriously.. those dudes are hardcore.

Obviously seeing people like to see others get the crap beat out of them. Why do you think wrestling is so big. It's like the in the times of the gladiator, we love blood. I don't know about chuck norris not being able to play this game but as for me I think i'll sit this one out.

I am calling it right now. In one of wides last post as whatever he called himself at the time, he made a reference to MavsDend. I think Mavs Defense is wide reincarnated. He is just being a smart ***. Can someone see where this guys computer is being used from. Think about folks.

Hmmmmm. I don't know. He certainly shares wide's prediliction for poor capitilization, and his near-fanantical refusal to post something worthwhile. If it's not wide, it is certainly someone who wishes he were wide.

It's not wide.
Plus, wide would never utter the phrase "I semi LOL'd."
MavDefense is an interesting character. Let's see how this plays out.

That is a tough sport but not nearly as dangerous as "Chain-Saw Fight Night" held behind the old paper-mill in Lufkin every Friday.

...right well you guys can have no fear. I'm not this "wide" guy.
Anyway by now ya'll are thinkin im some pacifist sort of dude with that comment I made. I'm not, I was just trying to say that I didn't really like it because I'm not huge on sports that have horses in them. Cept....for Horse Racing...that's fun game to bet on.
AH who am I kidding? I'm just not interested in this sport, but it does look pretty gruesome.
and Yes, I do like to see that sort of stuff, go to ogrish.com if you want picture and videos of real deaths. I also enjoyed the recent Saw movies, those were pretty interesting...

It is not fair to compare this sport with gameshows like MXC and American Gladiators. I'm going to write a few things, you tell me what sport I am describing
This sport:
A. Has a passionate following in its country of origin, and is little known or understood in the rest of the world.
B. Is more than simply a game or a pastime, but a true cultural force.
C. The rest of the world views it, mostly, as a violent semi-spectacle.
No, its not buz-kashi, it is our own brand of football, the best sport in the world.
However, buz kashi also shares these attributes, and what is more, has CENTURIES of history in Afghanistan. And, what may be even better, it was banned under the Taliban as "un-Islamic", and playing the sport was an act of resistance.
Though it seems bizarre to us, I still maintain that it is kick-a**. Had all of us been unlucky enough to be born in Afghanistan, those with a football players mentality would be playing buz kashi.
