So who will be the Texans HC next year?

They need to clean house that is for sure. GM and coaching staff need to go. The drafting and acquiring of players has sucked mostly as well as the coaching too.

Not sure if Cowher would be interested. Gruden might be though with the right situation. I think he is chomping at the bit to get back in it. He might be what the Texans need.

From the college ranks, I think Jim Harbaugh would make an excellent head coach, but he might not be interested in coaching in the NFL. Haven't heard him say one way or the other.

I dont know why Cowher is so popular of a pick... He won a Super Bowl sure but with all the years he spent with the Steelers - I dont think a Super Bowl is impressive... Besides Dick LeBeau is\was the real key to that coaching staff...

Id rather go for an assistant coach somewhere or Jim Harbaugh...

I love the idea of Rob Ryan. Maybe some defense will come with that name as the head coach. Gruden would probably be my 2nd choice. Also, if Cowher shows interest I think the organization would be stupid to pass him up. Pay him as many millions as he wants.
