I know Bobino and Kelson aren't the biggest LBs, but my God... Sergio was playing high school football just a couple of months ago.

I've been next to Bobino. He is about 5-9 (maybe)... Kelson is about 6-1 legit. Kindle is about a legit 6-3. But, Kindle is in some damn good physical shape.

PS. I think the photo was taken at a weird angle. Kindle is about 4 feet closer to the camera lens so he is going to look slightly bigger.

Also... Kelson is in damn good shape and is going to make a great LB too in my opinion. Remember him running step for step down the sideline with Reggie Bush and almost picking off the pass in the NC game ??

Texas is really starting to become LB "U".:D

I don't remember that. I do remember Kelson running step for step with Bush and making a spectacular interception, but the rest is fuzzy after that. I remember a lot of profanity in the room (most coming from myself) followed by visions of Mark May dancing in my den. Obviously, I was sure I had died and gone to hell. I came to a few seconds later to find nacho cheese on the TV and my cat in panic mode trying to scale the curtains all while my best friend's wife laughed at her husband and I. I was told that I threatened to castrate the ref and the feed his flaming gentiles to his next of kin, but like I said... it's all pretty fuzzy.

Oh, yeah... Kelson is a bada**.

UT is getting scary good talent, even relative to the past few years...

looks like Kindle might be the Frankenstein they're hoping for.

But it is the spring before his freshman year, there's a lot of weed to be found before we're done going to M. Macconnehey's crib. Injury anyone? or there's even the old standbye of sexual assault or accepting gifts from UT supporters.

I don't know this guy at all, so I do not know his character. My only point is, before you start dreaming of 4 years of DJ-like performance, just remember it can go "poof" as quickly as it starts.

Best of luck to this young man, and all of the other kids that chose to stay home at Texas schools.

I dont think it was a "pick." I think they ruled it bounced out before he had full control of the interception when he hit the ground. If anything it showed that Kelson is "bigtime" and has the athletic ability to do damn near anything on the field. In other words, "hees a playaa !!":D

Kelson's talent can't be denied. He's a tough, hard hitter with 4.4 blazing speed. Kelson's only problem last year was the inexperience that comes with a very young kid being asked to make a position change. He would get caught out of place at times and he would sometimes be confused at others, but that is easily fixed with time and coaching and with Gene Chizik coaching the LBs, incredible things are in this kid's future. Kelson got by on nothing but talent last year. Just wait until his knowledge of the position catches up with his talent.

I think Texas will be in a good position this year because they will have a lot more depth at LB (and talent) than they did last year. By the time all is said and done, you will probably see a rotation of Kindle, Kill, Bobino, Kelson and Muckelroy with Eric Foreman and Tyrell Gatewood thrown in for depth. And to think that those LBs are going to be playing behind a line that includes Crowder, Robison, Orakpo, Chris Brown, Roy Miller, Okam, Lokey, etc. Sick... just plain sick.

I think the biggest difference between the Texas defense of last couple of seasons and the near future compared to the Texas defensives of the 90's and early 2000's is the overall "TEAM SPEED."

The speed of the defense is a lot faster along with probably overall better skill level too boot.

I really like seeing that SPEED coming to Texas. You know the ole saying, "You cant coach speed !!":D

PS. O-ya, the Texas D-line looks "CRAZY SICK !!"

The only thing that worries me about defense is keeping THE MAN, Gene Chizik, at Texas.

I for one say we get him on one of those ankle bracelets!!

That might be hard to do. If Texas has another great or even very good season with a BCS Bowl. Chizik will be able to write his ticket just about anywhere I'm guessing..

If Texas wins it all this coming season & the defense played like they did last year then Chizik will be a head coach somewhere I am surprised that nobody offered him a job & it won't hurt my feelings the man does deserve a shot.

Now on Kindle if this kid lives up to the hype oh man because he was an unbelievable high school football player & a hell of an athlete. Plus what I like about him was on his highlight videos that I have seen he doesn't go for the big hit he just wraps the ball carrier up & gets that guys butt on the turf.

Kill has a little psycho in him… well, a lot of psycho. Kill is the kind of guy that may not impress you with how he gets to the offense, but he will scare you with what he does when he gets there.

Kelson is one great all around athlete. He can play almost any skill position and will do great things at UT. Also, he did intercept that pass. He had it, fell down and it popped out by the ground. The refs gave it to USC. Probably to make up for letting VY throw a TD from one knee......
