This guy is a total "STAT CHASER." The game with Jacksonville is over and the Titans have him in the game late in the 4th QT and are giving him the ball over and over just so he can pad his stats. They go for it on 4th Down just so this guy can pad his stats.

He is more with what is "WRONG" with sports today than what is "RIGHT".

All about "ME" and "I".

Yeah, pathetic. Did he get it? Jeff Fisher is really getting annoying - sorry, but he is.

NO other starting RB in the NFL is in the game with that led and under 2 minutes in the game. Chris Johnson (Coach Fisher) are totally Stat chasers.
But hey, you got the kid out of Spring,Tx that likes his fantasy football.:D

Maybe you're new to Fisherball... but running constitutes 99% of everything he wants to do.

The Titans were up 23-3, on the 35 yard line, with 1:40 to play.

Seems like Fisher to me.

You don't leave a star rb in when it's 23-3. Jackville could not have scored a td last night in 8 qtrs.

One of the biggest reasons why a weak Monday Night Football game can out-rate game three of the ALCS in New York: Fantasy football.

While Cliff Lee was dealing, fantasy owners across the country were hoping to squeeze a few more points out of Chris Johnson and Maurice Jones-Drew. Johnson's owners prayers were answered when Johnson broke free for a 35-yard touchdown on fourth down with under two minutes remaining.

That led to some (silly) questions about why Johnson was still in the game. Why were the Titans still trying to score?

Titans coach Jeff Fisher indicated that it was largely ESPN's fault. The network still needed more television timeouts and apparently asked both coaching staffs to take timeouts late.

"Jack [Del Rio] used his timeouts," Fisher said after the game via Terry McCormick of Titans Insider. "My understanding is they needed network timeouts, and that's why Jack used his timeouts. They came over and asked me to do it, but I said, 'I was hoping to get a first down and kneel on it.'"

Of course, you can also thank Del Rio for actually listening. Fisher was happy to end the game at 23-3, but Del Rio didn't let him.

"It's the first time I've heard of it," Fisher said about a network request for timeouts. "I just said I would have a hard time using them, because I'm ahead. Honestly, I have no issues with Jack or how he managed the end of that game. It's just what it was, and I don't think he would have an issue with me handing the ball off."

Take a knee and win with class. But having your starting RB in the game with 1 minute left and pounding him off tackle on sweeps with lead blockers is just trying to work the clock out...???

I guess taking a knee or giving Amhard Hall the ball a couple of times on Fullback Blast players over the center were out of the question..:rolleyes::rolleyes:

Everybody with a brain-cell could see what was going on and Coach Fisher class level went down a knotch.

Ha,ha.. Denison HS is in Texas and I'm hoping they can win at least win 1 game this year. Probably not going to happen but still rooting for you to get at least 1. Really dont want to see those Denison Seniors go out 0-10.;)

But on the brightside... alot of the other teams are padding those TRASH STATS against Denison HS with those blowout wins this year much like Chris Johson so maybe we both agree that it's ok and the right thing to do.:D:D:D

I play fantasy football...its fun..makes all games interesting.

Actually...I would have to say arguing Texas vs Florida high school non stop is for losers...especially when you are dead wrong and look like a cracked egg in an otherwise perfect dozen. :)

Just Asking:

1. What was your opinion of 'Bama's last TD against UT last year?
2. What was your opinion of Minnesota's last TD against the Cowboys last year?

I saw it.
I laughed.

I was curious why he was running it so late also but Chris Johnson is NOT the stat chaser. The coach telling him to run the ball is. These guys may be getting high salaries but they answer to their coaches and what the coach says goes unless an audible is called. So be mad at Fisher and not Johnson.

If a team is up by 20'ish points and there is less than 2 minutes in the game and (winning team) has the ball. Well, it's over and it's time to just take a knee or run the fullback over the center and just run the clock out and go home.

But, running sweeps off tackle with led blockers is trying to run the clock out. Hey, there isnt any doubt what Coach Fisher and Chris JOhnson were doing.

I said Coach Fisher is to blame also. But, Chris Johnson is right there holding his hand. Chris Johnson ran harder on those last couple of TRASH STAT runs with seconds left in the game then he ran all night.;)

Your probably right there. I would honestly say Katy is #8-#10 in Florida this year. For sure not a Top #5 in Florida. Too much speed and talent on those top Florida teams for Katy.
