Very impressive yesterday. Brandon Flowers about to smack down a ref - just sick that his team was losing - eating at him. Players truly pi$$ed that they lost a game.

Great coaches, great planning. Ok, the 3rd and short pass play was stupid - but a gutsy call.

I'm impressed -- I hope they win the laughable AFC West - Discuss.

So if you put in an established GM, a strong head coach and a pair of elite coordinators good things can happen even without the most talent in the leauge? Who knew?:heli:

The gentlemen that is coaching this bunch was once apart of the Cowboys coaching staff. They got rid of him because, he didn't get along with a dude who wore number 81. They took number 81's word over his and, well...you know where this is going.

And, I agree with everything else you said, especially about Brandon Flowers. The young man plays with emotion.

Can someone put together a list of Current NFL head coaches who were assistants in Dallas the last 10 years, and now have a better record than the Cowboys.

Payton, Haley, Sparano, anyone else?

Should be:

HC - Sean Payton
OC - Todd Haley
DC - ____?

Jerry is an excellent evaluator of coaches. Obviously Haley might be gone, but who knows.

Agreed - see my notes. I'm sure there was a good DC in there too.

Don't forget that Sparano was the OC before Garret with Haley as the receivers coach. We haven't been the same since they left but Garret is still a genius in some cirlces, hmmmm ......

As far as the DC goes, I'd be happy if Zimmer was still here. Look what he's done with Cincy the last two seasons.

-ps- don't forget the part where Jerry could have stepped aside and let Big Bill take over the as President/GM. Then with this talent you'd have this structure.

Jerry Jones - owner
Bill Parcells - President/GM
Sean Payton - Head Coach
Tony Sparano - OC
MIke Zimmer - DC

I've written this several times but that organization wins multiple SB's.
