I think a track option would be good. There are lots of good discussions that came go into it.

the great thing about track is that it is the easiest sport to compare. I know the times will not be completely accurate for each timer, but the kids run enough times throughout the year to make a pretty good guess.

Very true. That and the fact that it is apples to apples. You can't use excuses like you can in team sports. (we have the best QB but our O-Line won't protect him so you didn't see his best). In track you see the individual effort. Except in the case of relays, they can only depend on themselves. I can't wait for the summer olympics.

thats why there are basketball, soccer, baseball, and offtopic areas right? the only problem i see with a track forum is the fact that it would be all stats and not much else. dont know how much convo there could be when listing 100m times and so on.
