Not wishing to upset anyone, the museum committee decided to hide the swastika from view by covering it with a Union Flag.

But far from avoiding a row, the move has been condemned by some visitors as 'ridiculous and over-sensitive'.


think thats a bit too much, the flag was pretty big iconic item during that time it seems as dumb as the Texas book change.

It's not like they are out there waving in the streets, it's an exhibit. It's part of history. People would be interested to know the meaning behind the flag's creation and would probably learn more if they see it in person.
