The Woodlands 06 team is ready to make a huge comback and make this year one that will never forget and with 11 all district players returning and everyone else 14 returning starters and the rest of which have lettered will suprise the people who keep bashing the woodlands with good team chemistry and athlectism this will be a tough team and a good journey in the 06 season and college park will never be able to hold a candle over the woodlands and will not affect them what so ever

we'll see when the season starts talk doesnt mean anyhting and they havent done anything the past couple of seasons but with a lot of starters coming back maybe things will be better for them..................

Woodlands is the best team Lufkin has played since their district change. Lufkin returns a strong team this year so maybe the Woods will be the best test before play-offs.The "Pack" will be tough this year as always.

Yes, those were the scores last year but they are a little deceiving. The Lufkin vs TWS 42-17 game was much more competitive then the KF 38-21 game. In 2004 Lufkin beat KF 39-8 and only beat TWS 35-28 in a great game. That was by far the closest game Lufkin has had since joining the Conroe/klein area district.

yes they did, this year they beat klein by 7 and one of the last two years klein actually beat "teh" woodlands

If you guys plan on starting that Trey Milo kid your going to take a lot of beatings. I saw him play and wasnt impressed with his performance. He's big that's it nothing else just big. Javorski had a little speed on him to burn people but this kid is just plan slow if your breaking and getting caught by defensive ends and d-linemen your slow and that kid is slow. So i hope he isnt starting because he'll be picked apart

We also have another good strong and fast rb his name is forest banard and he will make alot of noise with his fast speed and his quickness a key player to watch

I'm not saying the Woodlands is not a legitiment team, because they are. But I wouldn't put all your eggs in one basket and try to make the SV game in the classic become ya'lls super bowl. If ya'll do,and lose, it will be a downhill spiral for the rest of the way because you put all your emotions into one game. It happens all the time.

Woodlands has twice as many kids as everyone else and has never really done anything with it...now they are starting to loose enrollment & will do even less!
I know they are in a weak district, but that won't help them advance in the playoffs. The fact is the would have lost alot more games last year if the New Orleans RB hadn't shown up.
News flash to TWH, your supposed to domminate when you have twice the numbers & you don't!!!

just one more reason why "teh" woodlands is starting their downward spiral back to earth....WOW...college park has some major size....ol carl simunek 6-8 290 and ol will montgomery 6-4 270...and "teh" woodlands is in need of a rb this upcoming season and college park has rb shane morales 5-10 170 4.4 40 time....depth is already starting to get hurt by college park, just give it one or two more years after that and everybody will be on a level playing field....and definately watch out later on for college park, great head coach and apparently some talent coming their way...

Ok let me tell you something right now both of the oline are horrible and went to college park because they were never going to start at the woodlands they cant even squat the bar nor any thing else and shane morales is decent last time I saw him play he fumbeled alot so and all of branch crossing killed knox by at least 20 points or more.

Who gives a crap about junior high football? Branch or McCullough has more kids which equals more depth. Junior High football is based on talent not on coaching.
I predict very soon that Conroe and CP beat TWH very soon since TWH's numbers are now down.

The Woodlands has just not been the same since Willig left... coaching has and will continue to be a problem. Just for the record... The Woodlands very well could have won the LP game in 2004 had it not been for a dropped pass in the endzone late in the game...last years score was a bit misleading in result of defensive tds...also, I believe the last time Conroe beat The Woodlands was in '94 or '95

When was the last time ctwh beat A&M. Not in the Dome and not last year. I know it wasn't in 1994 when A&M won by about 50. I beleive A&M does actually have a state championship to its credit.

Consol and The Woodlands both have programs many other schools would like to have in my opinion. The arguments going on are pointless in my opinion. Neither school has a championship in 5A, but both have obviously enjoyed successful seasons.
I'm sure The Woodlands players and coaches are smart enough not to try and make Smithson Valley their "Super Bowl." I'm sure they'll be trying to become a better team in non-district, and get weaknesses sorted out to make sure they get the results they need in district and later in the post-season.
In the grand scheme of things, the actual result against Smithson Valley will carry little importance.

I saw other posts that were really hammering TWHS and their kicker last year for losing to NS. No one has mentioned the other 21 players on the TWHS team that did not score, or keep NS from scoring the win. Kickers catch hell from everyone but usually they are put in that position by their team mates to have to win it by kicking. They are hero or goat.
