Conroe has such good athletes that he probably would be 2nd team over there. I don't know for sure though, we would have to ask conroe05 for that.

144 quarters, you still havent told me what that means....and all i was trying to do when i mentioned a couple of conroe's guys numbers was see how that compared to the best around the state...you really need to get out of your little "teh" woodlandsw world and realize now that you have less than 5,000 kids you will NOT be great anymore!! and i was posting about fb antonio kelly's numbers...and if im correct, and YES i am, then he rushed 14 times against "teh" woodlands for 104 yards....so ya, he can play football

It's funny you mention that, My Girlfriends cousin is 6'3" 310 pounds, and can bench 500 (rep it like 6-7 times) my jaw fell to the ground when he did that, especially since he never had any weight training or football expierence. The problem, he has a mental handicap and is WAY low on the IQ chart so Football was out of the question.

PantherFan,

With a resume like that . . . . . . .

Why is football out of the question? Sounds like a perfect lineman to me. ;^)

Don't start the flaming!

I scored a 39 on an online version of the Wonderlic. Three points higher than Eli Manning. Just put me in coach. It's all psychological.

This site offers just a small sample of it complete with sample test that you can compare your results to.

Vince young is a moron if that is all the Wonderlic is. I got 9 out of 9 (Which is supposedly equivalent to a 50 on the test....and I still has 28 seconds to spare.... I am sure I would have missed one eventually if it were 50 questions... but still.. not many..

Those are actually some of the easier questions. It is sad to see some of the scores that come out of the combine but it still doesn't mean you can't play football.

As long as you recognize a prodigy when you see one.

Vince is a moron. Just listen to him talk.... he is a moron. In HS, Vince failed to get a 900 on the SAT numerous times; in my eyes, if you can't score a 900, you are very stupid. The only way Vince eventually passed the SAT with a 900 is because he claimed a learning disability and had no time limit on his SAT.... that or someone with an interest in Texas football pulled some strings.

I still love the guy for what he did for my Longhorns but the guy would be flipping burgers if he wasn't such a great athlete.

The UIL is extremely hard to get to pass an untimed test on the SAT, My brother has Dislexia(sp?), and has taken the SAT 3 times to date, and even though he has come close he stumbles on the reading comprehension part. The UIL just passed his untimed test after 2 years. It's not that he is a MORON but has extreme diffuculty with the timed pressure and trying to read and comprehend what he is reading. He has been tested by the state and IQ wise he is very Above average, but his reading and comprehension skills have a lot to improve on. He has even been to almost every review you can think of for the SAT but once he knows he is timed he struggles. So I don't think you can judge him by how many times he took the SAT, it could be a legitimate learning disability.

just my $.02

I am sorry if I offended you and I will concede the SAT arguement but I still hold my stance on VY... just listening to the guy talk does it for me. I don't know if anyone noticed this but Texas dumbed down their playbook for him late in his career because he couldn't read defenses... Also, there is just no excuse for the way he performed on the wonderlic... it reminds me a lot of an IQ test.

No offense taken, just letting people know that there are legitimate cases out there, not saying VY is one, but people really don't know unless you are that person, or very close to that person. As for VY I could care less about, and If you think VY sounds like a moron when he talks, you should hear Rodney Hampton! He is not a very good public speaker, Maybe he is just scared of large crowds, but at the Army All-American bowl clinic, you could tell there was no practice put into that speech.

Hahahaha.. I concede this victory to you. That was the slam of all slams. In the words of the great Chick Hearn, "The door's closed, the light's out, the eggs are cooling, the butter's getting hard, and the Jell-o's jiggling".
