Raiders cut QB Kerry Collins, Jets sign QB Chad Pennington to a new deal and release Pro Bowl Center Kevin Mawae. I hope that Houston can sign Mawae to strengthen our offensive line. If we don't sign him I don't know who we will take in the draft.

I guess Mr. Alexander must really want to stay in Seattle. He could have signed a one year deal and just waited until the cap was gone. With another season even remotely like this past, he could command HUGE $$$ on an open, capless market.

Yeah and I think that Culpepper has suffered without Moss their being his go to guy in Minnesota when he left for Oakland. Burleson and Marcus Robinson didn't do so well as the replacements for Moss so I think that Culpepper should get his game back if he goes to Oakland to be with Moss.

Thanks Reagan. Hope to be up there with you soon. I agree with you on the fact that Bush may be similar to Cadillac but with a little bit more speed and agility. Cadillac was getting off to a good start at the beginning of the season but that injury really slowed him down and he struggled with it the rest of the season and he is looking to bounce back next season. Galloway came out of nowhere last season surprising us all with 83 receptions for 1,287 yards and 10 TD's last season and is looking to improve those numbers next season. I think that the Bucs will be one of the sleeper teams next season with Cadillac and Galloway heading a good offense.

Yeah that is true. The Browns do have a good RB in Droughns but I give the edge to the Texans with Davis and possibly next year with Bush(if they select him). In the WR spot, I give the Texans the edge over the Browns because Andre Johnson has had more experience that Braylon Edwards since Edwards is only coming into his second season. At QB, I have to give the edge to the Texans because Carr is younger than Dilfer and has a better team built around him.

Yeah, I still think Carr is better than what people give him. Andre Johnson is pretty good but they may need a reciever or two to help him. Davis and Bush would make a devastating backfield. But none of this can go without an o-line.

No they didn't. And I really like Brunell but I don't think he can repeat. You could see he wore down at the end of the year and the knee injury he sustained in the game against New York really messed him up. I didn't watch a lot of preseason last year but I heard Campbell played pretty well, and Gibbs said at the end of this previous season that "if he was forced to play, he probably would've done good". I can see Campbell playing a lot in preseason and then Gibbs/Saunders will determine at the start of the season I'm assuming.

Yeah, it happened after the second Cowboys game against the Giants. A lineback came in low and hit him square on the knee and hyperextended it a little bit. Even worse was it was the knee that had been reconstructed. Ramsey then got a few snaps and ended up throwing a 70-something yard TD pass to Moss (the play was all moss though, it was a pretty bad pass from Ramsey).

Yeah that play really confused the Cowboy defense. After Brunell came back from the injury he didn't have a good second half of the season. I had him on my fantasy team this year. I picked him up off of the waiver wire the first week and he was on fire. I had Aaron Brooks and Kurt Warner. Both of those QB's were injured and inconsistent and luckily for me Brunell was my only option. I managed to get to the championship game with him but I lost That was my dad's team. My fantasy team was a salary cap league and you were ranked by how many total points you had. There is nothing worse than an injured Brunell. Ramsey just.....isn't that great of a quarterback. He finds some way to f something up. Portis was getting banged up from blocking (he's an awesome blocker) as well as running into the line. It was his shoulders more than anything.

I think that the Redskins will trade Ramsey this offseason. There has been rumors that they might trade him to the Dolphins or Jets. And I also think that Portis may bust out with a 1500+ yard 10+ TD year next season after his strong play in the second half of the season.

Well, everyone thinks it may be a problem with a RB or QB but the line opens holes or opens up blocking patterns for the RB and the line protects the QB and gives him time for throws.

Ravens signed RB Mike Anderson to a four-year, $8 million contract. The deal includes a $2 million signing bonus.
Baltimore still needs to add a tailback and this contract indicates Anderson is comfortable being a backup. Whether he competes with Jamal Lewis or a rookie for carries remains to be seen.
