Holmes, the Lions starting middle linebacker last season, is not in the team's plans. Boss Bailey is likely to start at MIKE when he returns from injury. May. 6

Kerry Collins - QB - Raiders


The Akron Beacon-Journal believes Kerry Collins is headed to Tennessee after Steve McNair is given his release.
The Titans will still have to sign Vince Young after McNair is cut so they might not have enough money left over for Collins. The Titans already have Billy Volek, Matt Mauck, Young, and Cody Hodges at the quarterback position. This may just be speculation. May. 6

TE Kyle Turley had possibly the most impressive showing at Friday's workout session in Miami.
The converted tackle has trimmed over 40 pounds and currently weighs 260. The Miami Herald reports Turley looked "downright graceful" at the practice. May. 6

Marcus Vick was unimpressive at the 'Fins first minicamp workout.
Vick reportedly looked smaller than his listed 6-0 height and threw inaccurate sidearm passes. He did line up for snaps at wideout and caught a pass. Marcus is still without a contract. May. 6

Ty Law - DB - Jets


Ty Law passed a physical and met with the Titans Thursday.
"Once he finishes all his trips, if he wants to sit down, then I think we could get a feel for where we are. We'll just have to see," GM Floyd Reese said. The Titans don't have the cap room to sign Law until they solve Steve McNair's issues. Law is expected to visit with the Chiefs and the Patriots are also interested. May. 12

Bucs signed undrafted free agent DE Moe Thompson.
The former South Carolina standout will have an upward climb to make the roster. Thompson started all 23 of USC’s games in 2003-04 and even played some tight end in his final season. May. 12 -
