Word is getting around that Texas is scheduling TCU for 4 years. Two games in Austin, one at Amon Carter in Ft. Worth and one at Jerryland in Arlington when it is finished. If true, I believe this is the final sign that the Red River Shootout will be leaving the Cotton Bowl and the grossly inept leadership in the city/county of Dallas in favor of a home and home series.
Texas constantly schedules Rice and/or Houston to keep a recruiting presence in Houston and it looks like Texas is making moves to insure they keep a recruiting presence in the Metroplex. I would look for TCU, SMU and/or UNT to be on Texas' schedule for years and years to come.

Laura Miller is as dumb as a box of rocks. Has no depth or far-sightedness. Can't concieve the dynamics of sports on a city. Dallas has failed for decades due to poor management at the top, and Laura is just the worst and most recent.

I think you're being kind of mean to that box of rocks.

Don't feel bad. A few summers ago I used to valet in downtown Dallas and for the opening of a restaraunt she made an appearance. None of us opened her door for her.
HAH! It was definitely worth the small *****out we got.

The Cotton Bowl is tore up!!! I don't blame the schools if they chose not to extend the RRS in Dallas. Could they have it in Arlington?
