What a game you guys played (cavs). Congrats on a huge win and a huge crowd. Were there any numbers released on that crowd?
I don't want to wish the season away, but week 10 is going to be a huge game between us. I wish we could play it in a bigger venue than yalls home field, but is what it is.
Ok back to reality. Y'all keep that win streak going would ya? I'm not predicting a victory by any means but it will make for more excitement that's for sure.
Congrats again on the big win.

twolf,
They said that there was 30,000 people and it felt like more. Thanks for the props on the game. LT suffered a huge injury when Conner Floyd broke his leg and was taken to the hospital. The great news is that he has a chance to return for the playoffs and maybe even the CP game. Keeping the streak up without him against Aledo and/or Kerrville Tivy will be more of a challenge now, but I would not bet against the Cavs.
The LT defense is very good this year and the offense, while probably not at the same level now, is still really good. Aledo will be very tough and Tivy has an incredible offense with Johnny Manziel. Tivy's defense is suspect, though. Not to be presumptuous, but I see LT playing CP or Tivy twice this year. I think that those two teams will see each other in the playoffs if CP finishes second in the district. If CP wins the district, then LT will almost assuredly play Tivy twice.
Lots of respect for CP this year. I think that both teams can be 9-0 going into that last game. Very nice win over Westwood, but I was surprise that Westwood moved the ball that much if the statistics were indicative of the game. Best of luck this year.

Great to hear about the young man who got hurt!! That's awesome that he'll recover that fast. We have a lot of improving to do yet, so keep that win streak alive and well see y'all in a couple of months.

I've got to hand it to you Twolf: Only you would post a "week 10" thread during the pre-season!
Looks like a great season ahead, and the temperature has already fallen down to the 90's!

41-9.
Solid game. Oline continues to set the pace. D played well--lone TD came with a couple of minutes to go in the 4th.

I've thought vista would be good this year. Not surprising to me rally. Good coach and good athletes. Only thing that keep them down was their previous coaching staff.
