Belton has thrown a lot at them... i guess i would too if its a preseason game against a top 5 team. Overall okay, but we still need lots of work on special teams...which is certainly a hold over weak spot from last year. Belton QB is sounds pretty good.

Considering we didn't use him much at WR it would be a good move IMO. However, I don't think we'll see another team throw the ball this well.

Not that I know of. but like ahseagles said something HAS to be done because this kind of performance wont cut it. I don't think our D will get beaten this badly again, believe me if those kids don't believe in god they will after Fullen is done with them. This was a good measuring stick as to where we are and what needs to be worked on, and it's obvious what that is.

I heard Shaq Sims name on a blitz several times tonight, maybe he can bring the speed off the edge.

We really need that quick presence at nose guard.

I agree...at least not for a while. He has to be one of the best in the state.

As for the game, eh i'm actually kinda pleased. This will serve as a bit of a wake up call for the team, especially defense, and they seemed to get a bit better towards the end of the game. Remember Belton threw everything they had at us in those first few mins, and that had to get in these guys heads. Its the first game of the season, and certainly lots to work on... i know i've already said it once today but special teams needs big time improvement. I'll save my judgement of the d until we arent facing a top D1 recruit who can sling the ball all over the field. O was right there where they left off last year, with some added new weapons.
