RIP Guys.

Both great and intelligent posters.

I don't think this belongs in the yard possibly its own forum would work but I guess this is good right now.

We will create a Memorial Board and move it there. Good idea.

What a great idea. I hope the family members of those departed posters are able to see how they have been honored in this website.

This just shows that 5A Texas Football is a family in itself.

Thank you KTs for doing this.

I concur with yankee, thanks BDB. Those two pictures or memorials you did are awesome. It signifies the two schools these fine men loved the most and it is beautifully done.

Please know that the family of TulsaHale74 read through the various threads that relate to his recent journey together Wednesday evening. We are all very touched by the kind, encouraging, and honoring words (and graphics). These form quite a wonderful memorial. We will keep you informed concerning the schedule of events of the next few days.
Thank you all.

TulsaHale73 - Thanks for sharing although I can't help but feel bad. I say that because there are likely more like me. I didn't know Rich personally. I was touched by his story and offered my prayers and wanted to say something eloquent. I started many posts, but couldn't come up with the right ones and deleted most of them. I read the caringbridge site and thought of offering words there, but again never did.

In real life I struggle with the right words to share in situations like this and find myself doing the same online. From all accounts Rich was a great person and I know that you can see that he was respected even with his online personality which does not appear to be different from the way he lived his life.

My main point is that there have been many well written posts on these threads, but I suspect there are many more that felt the same way, but simply couldn't find the words.

Rich was a man of faith and I pray that his family is able to take comfort in that and the people that love them.

Thoughts and prayers for the family and friends.
