What do ya'll think about Denton Ryans new Re-loaded team? And what do you think there season will be like?

They have alot of playmakers this season:
DE- Deymone Hogg All-District
OLB- Greg Garden All-District
CB- Jermey Richards All-District

WR-Justin Fenty All-State
RB- Jaiston Sawyer All-District

And up and coming players
Top Junior DT- Ben Goldthorpe
QB- Chris Timny and Austin Knight

I think DR can expect a 2nd place district spot along with a playoff run that will go into the 2nd run. I think they will be good, but not as good as last season.

This website has them at #19. That sounds about right. I noticed in their preview they dont have much size but everyone thinks they have a top flight coach and they definitely have a winning tradition. I cant see them beating SLC in the regular season or if they match up again in the Div II playoffs.

I remember going into the 03 season that was the general consensus about DR, they started the season by getting blasted in Ennis 55-19. All they did was advance to the state title game and give a very good La Marque team all they could handle, this year could see similar results. To say DR will only be a 2nd round playoff team is underestimating them in my opinion. If DR advances out of the 1st round, they will be matched up against a team from either 7-5A or 8-5A, and I like DR's chances going into a matchup against any team from those two districts. This is when Coach Florence is at his best is when people think the well has run dry he will have the Raiders in prime contention for another title run come November.
