I have to say it is a great move for Tech. Leach has shown steady improvement each season, and what gets me even more excited is how much better he is at recruiting than Spike. Spike would go all out for maybe one 5-star player and then load up with no-names around the "star" of the class. Leach takes a more sensible approach, aiming for solid players that Tech has a real chance of getting that he feels can play at Tech. I also like that he recruits a WHOLE bunch of qbs. That is a real hit and miss season, it never hurts to have a stockpile and a bunch to work with.
I don't think Tech will ever be at a UT-type level, but they are already the solid No. 2 football program in the state, with room to improve.
