It sounds like Goodson is going to sign with USC. Has anyone heard anything?
I was hoping he'd go to Texas but let's be honest, if I got a USC full ride I 'd be there too.

he will meet the purple swarm again this year. great rb no doubt but it will be even tougher to get yards on this lufkin defense. all it takes is one little hole and he can take it to the house though. i still would take vondrell mcgee or magee from longview over goodson. he can not only blow by you but he can break tackles. goodson seemed to go down fairly easily when i saw him play lufkin last year.

USC? Are you serious? I had no idea he was being recuited that high? He is good but I didn't know he was getting that much reck.!! Good for him!! He won't be playing much if he goes to Texas, they got to many backs right now as it is!

This time you have to come to KC's house though! Different story! Lufkin will either lose one game this year to a District Team or will have a couple real tight ones this year!

I watched the channel 2 news (nbc) last nite and saw that Goodson officially will commit to Ok. St. Since he was offered a full ride to USC, Notre Dame, A&M and about every other prestigious program in the country this came as a huge shock. If you are a Cowboy fan you should feel very lucky today. Who is a OSU fan in Texas anyway?

Duke, Why would it make a difference for us coming to Klein to play? Lufkin doesn't mind playing on the road, we actually like it.

Might be a small edge for them that's all! Remember, this will be the first year in 3 that you have not had J-Lane so it will be a different look!

Well I saw Goodsen and I saw Mcgee and the Longview kid is going to be hard to top. That kid can break tackles and run by you like a flash. Yes Lane iS gone, but Lane did not play defense last year, and it does not matter to the pack where the play. If our defense stays healthy the are going to tough ..............GO PACK :D
