- Region 1's balance tips decidedly to Division 2 based on this projection. Very interesting development to watch this season

- Regions 2 and 3 are much stronger in Division 1 than Division 2. I would give an edge to Division 2 for Region 4.

With realignment, a lot of teams are on that D1/D2 bubble and it just so happen to be a lot of POWERS on that bubble, Katy, Allen, Trinity and a few others. Those teams can make one division top heavy and leave the other wide open depending on where they go.

Euless Trinity- Trinity is the 3rd ranked enrollment behind Irving Macarthur and Irving Nimitz. Trojans need one of those two to miss playoffs in order to stay D1 (Probability Meter= High)

Stony Point- Division 2 if both McNeil and Georgetown qualify (Probability Meter= Very Low)

Austin Westlake- Both Akins and Bowie must make the playoffs to send Westlake to D2 (Probability Meter= Very Low)

Katy- Either Morton Ranch or Seven Lakes must make the playoffs to keep the Tigers in Division 2. (Probability Meter= Low)

Yeah, the D2 pick is hardly a certainty when you are dealing with 3rd and 4th place teams. I could easily see one of IMac and INim being separated from the playoff pack and putting Trinity in D1.

Of the top ranked teams, only Trinity's scenario has a high likelihood of changing based on the projections.

i know your joking, but you ought to see the way the at the uil does their best to keep katy off the top of the heap.

Had a kid this year that moved to katy. His whole family up and moved legitimately, but because the former coach had an issue with the player he protested the kids playing for katy and now he lives in katy but has to play for a school in a different school district. I dont even know how that is possible? Its not like the kid moved in with his friends so the he could play football for katy. His Family up and moved into Katy. I dont even wanna know what legal precedence this has opened up, but even more shocking is how an ADULT can let a a kid get to him so bad that he has to go out of his way to affect a kids future in a negative way. Way to go coach!

OR and CP are flipped. CP is the 2nd smallest school in the district. Lufkin's the smallest. They're a lock for D2. Woodz and Atascosita can only go D1.

We'll find out tonight against Colleyville if Nimtz is for real, but I would guess Nimtz doesn't make the playoffs in this district. Could be wrong, and Gaines is a stud, but only three of IMac, Bell, Colleyville, Grapevine, Richland, and Nimtz can go, and I think thats a lot of teams for Nimtz to pass. They might not finish 7th, but I don't think they finish higher than 5th. Like I said, they go stomp Colleyville tonight, and I think my opinion may shift a little - Trinity is probably going to be D1.
