We've had every other inane poll but this one, so...

Drake, we have sunk to an all time low:( We must be bored out of our minds judging by some of these topics. And we just keep logging in and "talking". Oh well, it's good filler until August I guess. I go to the baseball board too (houston5abaseball.com) but baseball fans are just not as extroverted as football fans:p

Which mouthpiece is best for an overbite?
Who do you like best Ernie or Bert??

The "DUKE" was an awesome ball... This was a tongue-in-cheek poll, but people are actually voting. :o

I like the overall feel of the Nike laces. (i was gonna say Nike balls, but...)
We have a ball from one of our opponents and I don't like its laces. Catching that ball without gloves hurts if the laces hit you, because they protrude out from the ball a lot, and are very hard.

Drake, we had a softball game against St. Agnes today - saw the new SJ football digs - quite nice. How does that get paid for since there isn't any taxpayer money? Also, will it be ready for September? It looked like they were getting pretty close.

Football stadium has been used the past two seasons... It is nice... Holds about 5500 but should be plenty adequate for the new district... I think some of your teams will fill the visitors side to capacity with big bands and all, but it will give it a nice atmosphere on a Friday night...
What you saw is the new sports complex, basketball arena, and locker rooms... Yes, those will be ready for the upcoming football season... the only thing I'm unsure about is the parking situation... In the past patrons have used both the SJ and St. Agnes parking lots on varsity game nights...

That's what it was - I saw the construction on that and thought they were working on the football stadium. 5500 seating will make it quite cozy but that makes for better football games if you ask me. I hate sitting in the stands with 15 yards between you and the next person. That St. Agnes lot was difficult to get into...I went the wrong way on a one way street all around the softball field.
Oh well, it was worth it - my daughter had a good game and we won. Being the smart aleck she is, she did the sign of the cross right before the last out (she's catholic too so she was just poking a little fun). I had plans for them to go there when they were smaller but we changed our minds and they are Golden Eagles now...my girls would have been like that movie "The Trouble With Angels" had they gone there:)

Maybe figuring out their parking setup is the first test... It's not easy... :)
