BEST connection.

Trinity's Trevor Vittatoe to Judson DB Rendez James for a 99 yard fumble return in the DI state championship game:D

Everybody at Roundrock stadium knew that play should have never happened!! Half of Trevor's body was across the goal line the play before. Also for the kid that picked up that fumble to be so fast Dimitri spotted him 10yards and almost ran him down. The best connection in this game was Trevor to Handy for 150 yards.

more than 25% of mcelroys passes went to jacobsen, many of them td's. gotta go with the mcelroy/jacobsen connection.

there are no losers in this poll. either or both would improve either qb were they to be playing together. once dez learns some of the tricks involved with playing wr, he'll be a sunday player. the worst thing he does, pushing off, is easily retrained and resolved. the secret is in the delts, not the triceps.

Two key words there almost and if and you could probably throw in few buts along with them. The fact he didn't cath the DB and the DB didn't stumble. And if he had stumbled well then he would have been down by contact so Nance wouldn't have had to get him.

you obviously haven't tried the shell burger, from the little grill on the ne corner of davis and 1709. it tastes rings around kincaids, imo.

Certainly no losing combinations in the list, but I have to go with McElroy and Jacobson. :D Those two were linked up all season and got even better in the playoffs.

Dalton to Fuda was fun to watch. Im not going to say it was better then McKay and Jacobsen but i think it was better then Claybon to whoever it was. I dont have the stats with me but i believe Fuda had about 20 tds in a run dominated offense. Oh and Mitchell to big Fuda/ lil Fuda should be even better a few games into the season. If we put another reciever on the field like Knauss or Rowe, it would be fun to see what the defense decides to do.

Coach Dodge never tried McKay throwing to himself...that just might've worked....I'm sure you guys will find something that works..you always do!

Jacobson is a stud. He always seems to find the open seem in the defense. At first I thought nobody was defending him but after watching him closely he finds those open spots on his own. He just has a knack for that I guess.

he understood the workings of the spread offense, which create weak areas in coverages, and exploited them as well as anyone. his hard work and desire put him on top of the pile. he developed into a great route runner too, which isn't always found in slot receivers. his speed and toughness will be sorely missed and generally irreplaceable.

BUT HE DIDN'T CATCH HIM. and we aren't talking about the play before. Yes, Trinity won the game, but that was the best connection....

I think the Claybon and Bryant one is a better connection because this was their FIRST year in regular season as starters on varsity and they did what they did with little experience not like the two from southlake so i have to go with the two rookies as u can say for them

well to get BACK on topic..

i think Mcelroy/ALL Carroll Recievers should be the option..
greg distrubuted the ball to all the recievers, i think if you look at the percentage its pretty even..remember carroll had a GREAT recivers that all could get the ball, and they did that

with a 4-5 record....Defense was horrible, running game was not up to par, but the passing was lethal

FB Dulles
Cotton Turner - Laureno Maximo/A.J Udoeyop/Trey Parker

Cotton threw for 2689 and 22 TD's spread almost evenly between these 3 recievers

Maximo - 836 yds - 4 TD's
Udoeyop - 782 yds - 5 TD's
Parker - 475 - 6 TD's

ya'll should see him play, because numbers can't say everything...

my prediction is that Jacobsen and McElroy will be the best college players that Southlake has ever had.......physically, they each have the size, brains, and attitude to take them well into the next level......

EA Sports also reported that McElroy was named to their first team high school all american team.....check studentsports.com
