After two years of excrutiantingly watching the Obama administration govern I turn to FOX and watch Palin and a few other Repub pundits and realize....This country is in deep doo doo. Maybe the Repubs can find a German or Brit to run for POTUS. The pickins are slim boys and girls.

Only hating liberals and gay marriage is off limits as that's what's been deleted.
My advice is if you don't want to read politics then don't. Step back from that ledge my friends, if you're taking posts too seriously.

Well I don't hate Liberals but I strongly disagree with them, and gay marriage, well I don't care who gets married, our government has a lot more pressing stuff to deal with right now. So there...
This thread will explode in 30 seconds, you have broken the "No Political Talking" Act

My first take is it is so sad that the GOP could easily retake the WH except that they have no good candidates.
Second take is why would any competent person want to be in national politics? It's brutal. That's why an incompetent man is there now.

There you go. I keep seeing the same names on the GOP side that I didn't like the first time around. And the reason is probably because no reasonable person would do it so we are left with the borderline personality disorder people for both parties.

The reason is that there is one heck of a lot of money to be made in political office for very little efforts. Of course, if one were to take the responsibilities of the jobs seriously, the work would be much more rewarding and more difficult. Notice how many politicans have gone to DC with realtively small amounts of assets and exited as millionaires along with lifetime income security and amazing benefits.
Of course, we could fix that by just voting these people out of office on a relatively frequent basis. Jefferson had that part correct.

Jesse Jackson could switch parties and run for the GOP.

I just read the thread. It should have been a sticky thread or SOMETHING done to attract attention. I don't read all threads in this forum.
