Another SLC QUESTION

What spots on yalls defense is in competition right now....as i understand bensoist is moving to the outside.

The returning starters on defense are:

DE Boydston
DT Powers
MLB Benoist (Moving to OLB)
CB Simpson
S Agnew

As you said Padron will fill the MLB role, the other OLB is up for grabs, perhaps Spencer Elliot will fill that role. As far as the line goes, look to see a rotation of a couple players at DT, and possibly Trey Reece as a speed rusher at DE. Ashlock and Moody will probably fill the empty DB roles. Correct me fellow Dragon fans, if you have a discrepency.

Another returning starter is Arius Ford who split time with Simpson who many believe to be just as good if not better.

Trey Reece has the other OLB position locked down opposite of Benoist with Padron filling the middle.

Opposite of Boydston at DE is still a lingering question that hasn't been answered. Kyle Russo played there during the spring but besides that it is up in the air. A potential fit for the Job could be Austin Coan with his triple threat playing style (speed, size, and salsyness!!!) If he can stick to the protein drinks and lay off the ho ho's he could be a potential threat. ;)

yeah austin coan has a lot of potential.. he is just a pure athlete

i would like to see john morrow fit in somewhere also.. i am not sure what he will be playing next year though
