great grandfather and great, great uncle were Texas Rangers
grandfather drove streetcars in LA in the 30's( have pocket watch with company logo) moved to Texas during the depression and managed a grain elevator for 25+ years
other grandfather participated in the liberation of Germany and was a firefighter in Denver for 40 years

family's military service is copious and diverse. I take a lot of pride in the fact that I continued that legacy.

I work for a company started in 1932 by a man in San Antonio and another in Georgia. A vast majority of our products are produced in America, with the exceptions being some ethnic oriented ones. I am very proud of working for this icon of Americana, as well.

don't know what the points are for this little list, but I do love this country enough to sweat, bleed, or even die for her. That should count for something.

Black Irish is a traditional term commonly used among Irish American communities; it ascribes to a dark brown or black hair phenotype appearing in people of Irish descent. This can be distinguished in contrast to the (lighter) brown, blond, or red hair color variant, the latter stereotypically perceived to personify the look of typical Irish folk.
