Well, the LT-Westlake has been droped because LT and Westlake decided not to change the game to Saturday..Just as I thought.

Looking forward to being at the Steele/Mad game in person and recording both games to watch later. I sure wish they could work something out with LT/Westlake as well. I'd also love to see the defending 4a state champions' game televised as well.

The last time I check the Lake Travis - Westlake game was already on Sat at 7.30 at DKR because we both didn't have enough room anymore. But I thought the TV deal didn't work out wks ago. I would love for it to be on TV to show the country what TX football is all about. We have some good ones coming on TV already to prove that point. The LT-WL game on TV in 08 was a good one for LT.We are going to be on TV with the Cedar Park game in wk 10 as far as I know unless they drop it I hope not.

I think ESPN needs to ready work this out very soon with LT ending #2 in the country last yr and we don't know where we are racked this yr yet. And with ET & WL in the Championship games last yr this is all good for Tx football.

Take a look at Rivals.com. Don Bosco was number 1 and LT was number 2. Rivals said before the Westlake/ET game that if Westlake won, then they would have LT at #1 in the nation. So close.

i guess rating for these games are doing well... it's fun to see different atmosphere but day games in august don't come across that well so glad texas games will be at night... just eyeballing teams last year, i could see why that st. thomas aquinas team was so highly rated... they didn't win state... lost final or semi.. but that was a very good team... that oaks christian team vs. klein oak in herbstreit last year was really talented too

I couldn't agree with you more. ESPN should be hot after the LT / WL game and both teams are very deserving of some national attention!

Yep....Katy/North Shore was replaced by Desoto/Chill I beleive....Katy/Cy-Bay Fla. was moved from ESPN2 to ESPNU.....Katy/Bellevue was dropped.

I used to cringe whenever I heard TV was coming in to do a game I or one of my staff was scheduled to cover. It makes the game unnecessarily longer, people act like idiots whenever the camera comes their way and they take up too much room! :) I agree with the King though ... those contracts are fluid as heck. Radio is a different animal, but TV is a necessary evil in this day and age.

KWWT CW5/14 or 30.1 in Odessa and Midland should once again be broadcasting all the Odessa High and Permian High home games thanks to their contract with Trans Global Productions. Typically the games are shown Sunday nights on CW 30.1, Monday nights on MTV Tr3S (30.3), and Tuesday nights on RTV (30.2). They could also add a broadcast to This TV this year (30.4).

I'm not sure how it will work thanks to the double header next week (Permian opens up on Thursday and OHS on Friday), but if it's like last year, then they'll show on game on Saturday and the next one on Sunday. This should be the schedule:

9/4- Bethel (WA) at Permian
9/5- Lubbock Monterey at OHS
9/19- Amarillo Tascosa at Permian
9/26- Amarillo at OHS
10/10- Midland at Permian
10/17- Midland at OHS
10/24- Midland Lee at Permian
10/31- Permian at OHS
11/7- Midland Lee at OHS
