this Carr guy is terrible. The only reason they are keeping him is that no one wants him. The NFL teams are smart they know we sucks thats why they did not make an offer for him.
if he was good a team that really need a qb would have offer a late 1 round and maybe a second include for sack man!!!!!!!
but sack man sucks he gets nervous in the pocket and start to run and gets sack or he throws a sucky pass to the ground.

carr is bad but its not all his fault...if he had a line that could block he could do better than he has done...and after 2004 people were singing his praises and now people say he sucks but we will be singing his praises again next year if he wins more than 2 games

You would also be nervous in the pocket if you played behind the Texan's o-line.

It'd be a sad shame to see Houston do well and have all of you jump back onto the bandwagon.....

Don't worry, the band wagon will have many available seats because the Tex-Anns won't do well. Carr is neither the problem or the solution, but neither is VINCE. If you don't have an offensive line, doesn't matter who plays QB, he get cratered. Happiness is Houston in the rearview mirror.

I agree that no matter who your QB is, he won't have a chance without a front line to protect him. Fixing that may not be the entire solution, but it will be a start. They will pull it together eventually.
As for Houston bandwagoner fans, that is nothing new. I like the Houston teams and always will. But my number one team now and always is the Cowboys.

And the Cowboys have a great future ahead of them, with a coach who from year to year you don't know if he'll hang around, and the statue of liberty at QB with no groomed replacement anywhere to be found?
Fresh blood in the coaching staff is going to do way more for this team than any of you bozos can imagine.

Exactly. The o-line is where it is all at. If you don't have an o-line. No QB or RB will have a chance to win....

Lol, will Parcells be able to swallow his pride like Gibbs did in hiring an offensive genious in Al Saunders and a defensive genious in Gregg Williams?

That is true. If I were the Texans I would heavily focus on getting O-line help after drafting Bush. They didn't do that last year during the draft and they paid for it during the season.

Yeah, but they may let some key lineman out of their grasps...course they do have the 33rd pick. Maybe they should go after Bush and then focus heavily on lineman....

I absolutely agree with you Reagan that they should draft Bush and then go after a lineman. Two minds do think alike.

I kinda like Houston. Just something about them. Lol, they of course are second to my Redskins. I honestly think Carr is a good quarterback and Domanik Davis is a good RB as well. They also have a good wr (forgot his name) but none of this worked because they didn't have a good o-line.

I don't care how "electrifying" and "game changing" Reggie Bush is, without an offensive line this kid will be nothing in the NFL. Texans should trade down for a ransom of picks, draft D'Brickashaw and focus the rest of the draft on linemen and players they need. In case any of you forgot Houston had a great RB in Dominick Davis, who with the same terrible line, rushes for 1000 yards; put a real O-line in front of him and he will do wonders.

I think the WR that your referring to is Andre Johnson.

Carr is not now, nor has he ever been the problem. Carr is a very good QB from an athletic standpoint and despite the idiocy of the front office, Carr has always been a great representative for his team and Houston. Despite getting pasted every game of his career because the morons upstairs don't know how to build a team, Carr has always popped right back up and busted his tail to win. There are a lot of times when he has recognized the crappy talent around him and he has tried to do too much, but I will be damned before I ever criticize a player for trying too hard.
The incompetence that is Charley Casserly has been evident from day one when he took a HUGE chance on injury plagued Tony Boselli. Ever since that day, he has shown absolute ignorance when it comes to building a successful O-line. Until that line is fixed, you could have Joe Montana at his prime handing off to Walter Payton in his prime and they will both suck just as bad as Carr has.
The reality is that Carr is the perfect fit for Kubiak's offense. He's a mobile QB that fits the mold previously filled by John Elway and Jake Plummer. However, Kubiak has his hands full with the line. One of the reason's Denver has been able to throw any RB out there and have him be successful is because Denver has always had some of the best O-lines in the league. Kubiak is going from a team used to having the best lines around to a team and GM that wouldn't know a decent O-line if they were defecating on the 50 yard line. Good luck with that.
Trying to blame Houston's failures on David Carr is like trying to blame a stewardess for a plane crash.

They have nothing but time, and Bob McNair will assure they get the finest facilities, staff, and amenities to help them gel. All thats really left unkown is will the Teans do the right thing and start trying to buildthe line.

Why does every single fan who knows at least a tiny little bit about football know this, but it continues to escape the idiots driving the Texans' organization???
How is this NOT smack-you-in-the-face obvious??
