Anybody have some players visiting the 40 acres this weekend? They could expect some early offers for some of next year's blue chippers.
Westlake massive OT Matt Nader(6'8" 295) and QB Nick Foles (6'5" 235) are both visiting and could expect an offer.

Yes, he is. That's a big reason he's so highly sought after.
He's got a playoff game tonight in Cedar Park vs. Harker Heights in the Basketball playoffs.

Radio said they had 8 commit over the weekend, including Westlake's OL Matt Nader.
The remaining crop included 4 other offensive linemen, 2 DBs, and the state's top LB.
Hook 'em!

True on that. Would have hated to see one out of their own backyard get away. Hey LL, is anyone lookin' at that McKinley kid? I think he's going to be y'all's starting QB next year? Man, his athleticism was scary!

We seem to get overlooked alot in recruiting, but i really dont think their is going to be any way tht Josh McKinnley or Curenski Gilleylend will get denied. Both of these two are freaks IMO. Other then maybe James Kirkendoll from Round Rock, i expect one of these two to win district MVP. Correct me if i'm wrong, but shouldnt this team be Westlakes best team of the Coach Long era?

The best team, measuring by playoff success was his first; state semi-finalists. The Srs. on that team knew they underachieved in the regular season, and refused to go out like chumps. They put together a pretty incredible playoff run, considering that team MVP, Tyler Campbell went down in the first quarter of the first playoff game.
The most talented team, on paper would have to be last year's team, but they showed that they did not have enough of that talent on defense.
This coming year's team could end up being his best considering they are licking their wounds from their battles with district 15, and have a renewed confidence of being back in Region IV. Offensively, they have lots of talent returning and some coming up from a dominant JV squad. Defensively, they could struggle again, but look for some new things from the Chaps on D, as Region 2 showed them that they may need to change some of their philosophies on D to keep up with spread formations and speed.
