As often as they are tested these days, and as much as they would love to bust Lance, I don't believe he doped.

I think they both are dirty. I believe science of testing hasn't kept up with the science of performance enhancing substances.

That being said, i think the sport of cycling is rampant with abuse and Lance's wins are no less impressive because of my suspicions.

as much as i respect lance, if anyone has the assets/wherewithal to be ahead of the testers, it is him. i hope i'm wrong, but i doubt it. jaded a little? no doubt.

I'm a Lance fan, but I believe Landis. I think all of them were pushing the envelope on this.

Are you kidding?! Didn't Lance give up a testicle for the sport? He's been cycling with less hormones than anyone in the history of the sport. How come Lance being tested so much without any doping being found is seen as beating the testing system instead of maybe not using any SEDs?

I hope you are right and I'm wrong. I don't think Lance was a big time roid guy or anything like that, but I wonder about the blood stuff and other things that were being done by a lot of the riders. I really hope my gut is wrong on this...

I do follow cycling and doping has been rampant in the sport for a long, long time. The fact that Lance has never tested positive if he is really doing something is hard to believe.

Landis does say Lance was positive once and bribed the testing commission to ignore it. This has put Lance and the testing commission on the same side for the first time in recorded history.:cool:

Before chemo Lance was a world class rider. After he was phenomenal. I really wonder if the chemo is what did something to his metabolism.

I believe Lance is just a step ahead of the curve. The science of testing is always 2 steps behind those using. First they have to find someone who leaves it out in their locker or such (so they know there is a new drug), then they have to come up with a test for it. Being as most new drugs have absurdly minute chemical markers its hard to find them. Know how they can test for growth hormone use? Cartlidge density! Its just really obscure things people would never think of testing.

I think Lance is ahead of the game. No way someone with limited hormonal output could consistently beat juicers/growers/dopers.

Now that doesnt make it any less impressive. Most doping or steroid useage is to enhance recovery from brutal training and increase work capacity. Those using are generally working much harder than their natural counter parts.

Yeah, I vote for neither are clean. Lance still tries to logic and reason his way into innocence too much. He doesn't just come out and say he's innocent.

i also want to believe pujols is clean. it's tough to not be cynical what with all that has been proven to be going on these days.
