There was a streaker at a Garland game this year, but they wore sorts so it wasn't that good...no one even cared and no cops chased after him...it was kind of lame.
Of course, my favorite thing is the Super Owls representin'!

Better yet, he was a spur-of-the-moment streaker with no getaway plan or cover up plan after the deed was done!

Our own students brought these huge white flags to our game vs. Trinity and waved it every time Trinity scored... along with wearing shirts that said things amongst the lines of "There's no hope", "Give up now", "200-0" and a shirt that had the rundowns of game results the past 8 years, and then had "2005: Forfeit at Halftime".
a bunch of *** holes... they should have gone to the other side where they would have been appreciated.

Smoke bombs set off in 1982 at Texas Stadium by Trinity students. The first one was a red smoke bomb set off during Shootout 1 during the district game between Trinity and LD Bell. The second bomb was white and was set off during a playoff game (can't remember opponent - could have been Odessa Permian).

Lol. First and only time (to date) that I saw a "streaker" was at a Mac playoff game in the alte 90's....and he had pants on (but were pretty tight) and he had blue paint all over him....so it wasn't all that bad. But security was chasing him cause he got down onto the track.

The strangest thing i saw at a football game was in the middle of nowhere at a 3A game between Stafford and Needville in Needville, TX... i saw these HUGE "flying cockroaches" attacking a bird.... don't know if they got the bird, but if they did... poor bird...
don't know me and my friends was focusin in on that, i guess the game was just boring... but it was captivating, like watching lions hunting gazelles on the discovery channel..... :D

No, the home team didn't plant them. It just happened. The event won a Texas Monthly Bum Steer award. Progresso is just the type of place where a tarantula plauge isn't beyond the scope of reality.

I believe at this years Creek-Brook?? game, Creek had a streaker who went fully nude onto the field during halftime. He avoided the cops for a good 5 minutes and they had to use tasers to bring him down. They cuffed him and tried to take him away but he broke free and was tackled by another cop as he was trying to get out of the stadium. Cops then started to beat the s**t out of him with their clubs.

I remember 3 things at Klein stadium --Woodlands visitor --different years / different home teams ( dont remember which Klein schools involved ) --all involving bad weather
1. Strong wind storm came up during game --- blew a goal post to the side --almost touching ground --- coaches , Klein maintainence people , scratching their heads about what to do ----- Woodlands trainer ( Larry Deiderker ) calmly walks to goal post without saying anything --takes a crutch & pushes goal post back into place , walks back to bench --never said a word to anybody
2. Rain storm --Woodlands leading by less than a TD--less than minute to play -- Home team running back gets ball --raining so hard no one in stands (the few that were left ) or any player on field could even see the back --- some how a Woodlands player saw SOMETHIN go past him and took off in the same direction --officials say he tackled player , caused fumble --I dont know how refs saw all that -- I couldnt see my hand in front of my face
3. Another rain storm --rain stopped before game but grass field was a mud puddle -- Woodlands beat Klein Forest by a bunch --in 4th qtr several replacements in for TWH --one kid at corner --dont think he had palyed all year --his uni was snow white clean --pass came his way -- all he had to do was take one step to intercept --sure enough he slipped in mud -- fell flat on his back --- ball bounced off his helmet -- his clean white uni was covered in mud -- his only play on the game

Back in 2000 Lufkin was playing Tyler Lee at Abe Martin in the rain and a mother skunk with two babies came out from under the stadium and walked on to the side of the track, but never made it on to the field. Everyone in that area cleared out. Finally about 10 minutes later, the skunk and her babies went back under the stadium. The game never missed a beat.

Topped only by the blowup doll that the student section was popping up in the air like a beach ball circa 1998.

This was not a high school game but the Independence Bowl when LSU played Notre Dame, snowing and the stadium was packed and then here he came, a streaker that had moves like a pro running back. They couldn't catch him, it took about 8-10 police to corral him in the endzone....
Second... I am an official and when I first started I was calling a game at a 1A school (Apple Springs) and a deer ran onto the field. That was funny enough except some of the dads in the stands ran to their trucks and got their rifles and were going to shoot it. Honest! Even the other team was laughing and those guys rushing out of the stands...
Third... a family of skunks came onto the a field at a 3A game (around the Longview area) and that stadium got very quiet until they left peacefully....

At Rhodes Stadium during the 04 season, we were standing in the spirit line and noticed what looked like loooooong spiderwebs streaming from the lights. They were huge! It turned out that it was some kind of migrating moth coming through Katy and those were eggs. The 05 season was too hot for them and they didn't stop there this year.
