Pretty ballsy to tell two other elite backs that there's no spot left for them. I'd take as many of the big time backs as I could get.

Would love to see Sims or Marquez come to Tech, but I don't see that happening with Kenny Williams' commit.

It still amazes me that we have a glut of good RBs.

The other thread was not meant to eliminate the need for these threads, it's more about the overall rankings and comparing those.

Big pick up, wish he would have stayed with Baylor.

we've HAD great RBs in our offense while these other supposedly great teams, not necessarily OU, can't even find a consistent starter.

With the emphasis on passing in Lubbock, I just find it a bit ironic.

well, i'll be surprised if the air raid continues to stick with tubberville at the helm (i'm talking at least 3-5 years down the line, if he's still in lubbock). it would not surprise me at all to see him slowly work the offense down and go back to what he's known for...running the ball, conservative game plan. actually, i expect him to be conservative right from the onset next season. that's who he is.

you need to to research Neal Brown, then. Tubs tried the spread at Auburn, but it actually lead to his demise as it was unproductive. He has the right personnel and from all appearances, a good coordinator that was successful at Troy( I would love to have kept Lincoln Riley, but he was a Pirate disciple.) I think he will leverage the running game more, which I freaking love because we honestly have 4 guys that can take it to the house on any given play, especially the youngsters in Jeffers and Stephens.

Right now, the most exciting thing for this Red Raider fan is a focus on defense, to help stop guys like OU's Williams down the road.

He has the skill set to make big plays, but with his ball protection skills and apparently lack of effort at times, Stephens, Batch, and I can't think of his name right now, but there is another guy who is making some noise, should be getting a lot of PT.

I think Jeffers had like 2 fumbles in the spring game.
