I've been accepted to A&M and yes I am going there. I love the small feel, the traditons, the atmosphere, and the loyalty, this place is perfect compared to the greedy, self centered ways Clear Lake can be sometimes. The only problem is jtk and wide are now in a truck on the way to my house to hurt me.
At least Garlandowl08, supercentex, Dragons06, and about 200,000 ags and ex ags are now automatically best friends of mine. Next few years should be great, if manage to survive until college...

Dont be ashamed... If i could get into A&M I would go in a heartbeat... even though i'm a diehard UT fan. I have a few friends who attend A&M at the moment, and I love to visit them on campus.

Let me be one of the first to say Howdy!

I'm not sure how much time you;ve spent in B/CS, but I love that place. Kyle Field is awesome and the Spirit of Aggieland is truly amazing.

Whoop!

This could get heated i'm pretty proud:D

I'll have to look you up when we go there in the fall, talk football and go to kyle field stuff like that.

It's weird i'm not even in attendance at A&M yet and I already have like 20 friends there or going there that arn't from CL, another reason I choose the school and why i'm looking forward to it.

I've been there twice, one was for about a day and the other was last weekend. It was amazing to say the least, and I realize I haven't experinced half of it. I've never been to Kyle Field during a game, in fact the only "college" game i've been to was a UH-TCU game at UH like 6 years ago, and I don't like to say it was a college game (I could probably fit the student section in my kitchen, with room to spare...). Really looking forward to it:D

Congrats on your choice. No matter what others may say it is an outstanding school and you will be a excellent boss to the UT grads that work for you after you graduate;)

No Wide's not going to hurt you. Remember he has two nephews at A&M. On behalf of the Wideman's, "Congratulations!".

Wide says to add "There's nothing wrong with being an Aggie- just don't be Aggy". :D

Yep! One of my nephews is a senior in the Corp, at that and one of his is a junior! As he would probably say- he doesn't hate Aggies, he hates Aggy.

tech fans these days remind me of the kids in high school who are borderline geek, and when the cool kids are making fun of the geeks they'll try to jump in with the cool kids and make fun of the geeks, despite the fact they are much closer to the geeks than the cool kids

I wont kill you, but I suspect you will find it difficult to walk across that campus with no limbs and a boot up your butt. The Clear Lake area is not that big. I WILL find you and your punishment will be swift.

In all honesty Mr. Falcon, congratulations on your acceptance. Texas A&M is a fine academic institution and your diploma from there will open up a lot of doors for you in the future. You will be a little fish in a very large pond there, but work hard and leave your mark.

Just don't drink too much of the kool-aid. If I would accuse aggy of any one thing, it is having a lack of perspective. Don't try and portray yourself as something that you are not. Instead, try and work your butt off to be better than you are. I think if aggy would take this attitude, they could achieve everything schools like Texas, Michigan or UCLA achieve.

I past on the kool-aid last weekend and hopefully I can hold off as long as possible. My brainwashing chip comes in the mail in about 20 business days and i don't think i'm scheduled to get it installed until next fall. In all honesty don't EVEN plan on being aggy, many of the people there that i talked to don't like or even know a sterotypical aggy. I'm gonna do the traditons and have fun there but I WANT you to promise me you will kill me if I start acting like dumb sterotypical farmer "I love collies, and can't take a joke" aggy.
