The interior service is re-evaluating grazing practices in the western states. President Obama was presented with a report that there were approx. 100,000 cattle guards in the state of Colorado.
He immediately flew into a fury. He wanted to know how that there could be so many people on the government payroll protecting animals that were the main contributors to global warming and the green house effect, not to mention the fecal polution of the land, rivers, lakes and streams.
He demanded that half be fired immediately and that the other half be phased out over the next two years.
Not to be outdone, when VP Biden heard of this action, he went to Obama and insisted that if they were to be fired, it would only be fair for all of them receive 6 months retraining in a new career.

Well, I ain't saying it's completely original. I got the idea from an article that a terribly conservative co-worker emailed me that was sarcastically hitting on that point. I rewrote it and added some stuff.
Let's say I bought a $20,000 run down frame home, gutted it, added a nice fence, redid the exterior, and added a patio and detached garage and flipped it for $80,000, as an analogy.
At least it wasn't a copy and paste.

For those who have never traveled to the great West, cattle guards are horizontal steel rails placed at fence openings on roadways to prevent cattle from crossing. For some reason the bovines will not step on the guards, probably because they fear getting their feet caught between the rails. We need to make that clear in order for everyone to appreciate the following story.
President Obama received a report that there were over 100,000 cattle guards in Colorado. Because Colorado ranchers protested his proposed changes in grazing policies on leased federal land he ordered Secretary of Interior Ken Salazar to fire half of the guards immediately.
Before Salazar could respond, and presumably straighten him out, California's congresswoman Nancy Pelosi intervened with a request that before any were fired they be given six months of retraining. .WTF??? Is she really the speaker of the House , 3rd in line to be President?

I got through 4 rounds and only your first vote counted, as I predicted it would be back weeks ago....I knew by the way those guys talked every day that they were on top of their computer stuff and they would not be compromised....but I do apprecite the effort...lets' me know how you really feel....;)
BTW, KRLD asnd CBS probably thank you kids too....they got way over a million hits on the site and New York was calling KRLD to find out how they did it....me thinks ad money will go up in price.

True....but I was talking about the guys who were using their computers to delete cookies and mass vote....it didn't work, they just registered as hits after the first one...much to the benefit of KRLD and CBS Radio....but still, I appreciate the effort.

I don't think that is quite true. If you remove the cookies, they don't know for sure, they then have to go by IP And by UA. If they go by IP alone then they have an issue in that many companies proxy and present their users with one IP (or a limited set). So then it had to be: make sure you get rid of the tracking cookie in addition to ALL KRLD cookies, AND slow down your hits (they probably had a frequency report that could cull). Alternatively, you could "release" and "renew" your IP with your internet provider if you are (and I am SURE you are) DHCP (i.e., dynamic IP).
So:
Remove coookies and block;
Use multiple browsers;
insert a "wait" number into the script;
reset your IP (which can be a pain);
I would match folks on this board up with those guys.

I've posted on multiple threads how much I appreciate feenix, and in a PM too. I was just jacking with him over a pi**ing contest earlier in the thread.....I appreciate his efforts on a grand scale.

When I was in studio they were gloating that they had over 500,000 hits on the site to that point, but that I won round 4 with just over 700 votes.....looks to me like they not only defeated the system, they squashed the system. I mean, really, one poster here using the system noted that he logged over 400,000 votes in his computers alone....obviously the delete cookies scheme didn't work at all.
