As if it wouldn't be tough enough to run a marathon, try running it in 29 degree weather, AND after getting ambushed by a deer.

Dallas dentist Matthew Tillinghast got blindsided by a deer at the starting line of the Austin marathon. Check out the story - scroll down and watch the video as well. The video of the deer starts about 1 minute into the story - and you can't see the deer actually run over this dude. He finished btw - gutsy. The deer and he were pretty stunned.

One of the women that ran in that race is a Judson Alumn.

Oh and the waiting 2 hrs to move 6 miles in Austin is nothing new. Go there during rush hour and you will have a lot of fun

Yeah - thought it was odd they were complaining about traffic in Austin - 18,000 folks trying to get to a marathon - not easy. Our local affiliate showed the deer clip last night - pretty cool - the deer is running full speed then leaps over about a 4' fence and lands right on this this poor guy who got up and finished the marathon.
