Toughest Schedule

Westlake will have Abilene, AMC, and 4A up and comer Lake Travis.

I know AMC will come back loaded and lookin' for revenge for last year, Abilene is the cream of their district, and Lake Travis spent most of last season ranke atop class 4A.

according to "powerhouse highschool Texas football preview", and "texas football highschool gridiron", Longview has the toughest schedule in 5A football this season.....yea, i couldn't believe it either!!

Trinity's non district schedule for the last 2 years I feel is the main reason they went to the semi's (04) and won State(05). When you play the likes of Desoto, Midland Lee, and Tyler Lee which we did in 04 and 05 it has to show you where you stand heading into district. Granted these teams might not have been the teams of the past in 05 they are not pushovers. This year we have Tyler Lee again along with Waco, and Odessa Permian. Non district should get us ready for district and playoffs.:D :D :D

we couldn't get anyone to play us... We tried Tyler Lee and John Tyler again, SLC, Dallas Carter, and a few others in Dallas and Houston areas... no one would committ. We have - Beaumont Westbrook - Houston Forest Brook - Evangel Christian - Nacogdoches - Aldine Eisenhower - Longview.

We are glad to have a 10 game schedule in 2006... It's a shame no one stepped up to play...:cool:

My guess is any of the valley teams or who plays SLC

Who cares about non-district, every team in 26-5a will have the toughest 8 game schedule in the state. ESPECIALLY LEE. If anyone comes out of that district race at 8-0, the rest of the state better look out!

Our non district schedule is pretty easy. But our district schedule is really tough, we learned that last year. Playing tough schedules is nothing new to us. We had to play 8 consecutive area ranked teams last year along with 4 straight state ranked teams in that mix. It was brutal and showed as we went 1-7 during that stretch, although it went down to the final snap in all but 2 of the games. We were never out of any game before the 4th quarter strarted except SGP.

consol has the toughest schedule by far. four teams that went into state playoffs (plugerville, leander, katy and westlake). district should be easy with cove gone, so we need to do good in these non district games. hence why we're playing them.

I hate to be biased but our schedule is hard to beat. Tons of tradition and some of the best 4a and 5a programs from TX and LA.

Judson had the toughest SOS by Opponent Rating and the toughest SOS by Opponent Record last year.

Anyone in 26-5A will have one of the toughest for sure this coming year. Lee's schedule really is tough, but they don't play good teams in Non-District, so they never have the toughest.

AMC and Abilene should be a couple of great games but I don't think Lake Travis will be able to hang with the Chaps.

to be honest the one team that i think will be extremely lucky to be able to win one game this up coming season is channelview.they just moved up to 5a from a somewhat weak 4a district that they couldn't build a playoff record since the school opened.
