The last time I went to the HLSR...it was at the Dome....the Dome had the huge scoreboard with the Longhorn in it and it was filled with smoke because at the time you could smoke inside....I think Gladys Knight and the Pips were performing.....I'm gonna try to get out this year and make the Rodeo and the carnival since Astroworld is closed.

I don't like country music, but I have been to the rodeo quite a bit. Reba McIntyre is the best performer I've seen at one.

He'll never know. I doubt that he's ever on this site...lol

But Chuck Norris is and he learned his many values for the fellow man under the guidance of Chief White Eagle, who frowns upon broken promises.

Prepare yourself. ;)

I liked that scoreboard, but they took it down to add 10K seats to keep the team they lost anyway.

Everyone is a the San Antonio Stockshow and Rodeo right now. My sister went to the Willie Nelson concert and called me halfway through. I asked her how it was and she said "He doesn't sing, he talks his songs." I was so mad at her because she had never listened to Willie before and yet she went to his concert, when she could have given me the ticket. I laughed and then hung up on her...

Oh yeah! He will play somewhere. Perhaps not at the Rodeo, but he will play until he dies. He has said that many times. Try to catch him in a small venue concert. He plays those allot. It is just not always advertised. He is a pop in kind of guy. He played the Fort Bend Fair a few yeas back. A small little old community fair. It was SOOOOO GREAT. I was standing right in front of the stage and there was NO security between it and me. Of course I have seen him ALLOT. But that one will always be special to me. Well actually, all of them are special.

Those 2 guys are better than anybody that SA had. There are others in Houston that are better than anybody in SA, too.
