If I'm not mistaken, the young man on the left is aggy Javorskie Lane and the kid on the right is Texas' Jermichael Finley. I think the two are cousins or half-brothers or something.

Wide-e-wide could have cleared that up, but I'm 99% sure they are related in some way.

I knew that was Finley on the right, but I had to stare at the guy on the left for a while. My first thought was that it was Texas' Rod Wright without his glasses, but Wright and Finley are about the same height so it couldn't be him. I then thought it was Lane, but the fella on the left looked too chunky to be Lane. Then I remembered a thread I read on Texags the other night where they said Lane was up to about 280 right now and the coaches want him down under 250. It would appear as though Lane found Franochio's stash of Little Debbies.

Yes that is Lane and Finley. They are half brothers. Their dad is Joel Davis. I went to school with Jorvorskie's mother and father. His mother is Sonya Lane. I don't know who Finley's mother is but he went to school in Diboll which is about 10 miles south of Lufkin. Their dad was a very good basketball player back in the day.

A good number of people on this board did recognize who they were. You're the big Texas fan with huge letters in burnt orange in your signature....don't you pay attention/give a **** about recruiting? Or did you think perhaps we just pull players out of thin air?

im a texas fan and ddint knot that was Finley...i knew the other one was lane right away. Finley hasnt had his face platered all over the tv screen like lane has.

Being a horns fan im kinda dissapointed that i knew the guy on the left and not the guy on the right. Javorskie got alot more TV time i.e. (Highlights, this site,various HS football shows) then Jermichael did which is probably why I recognized him and not Jermichael.
