Heard today that Desoto has backed out of this years contest. Odessa Permian is Trinity's new non district game along with Tyler Lee and Waco.

Is this for 0 Week? I know we have home games in Week 1/Week 3... and you guys(Trinity) also play at home in Week 3 am I correct? Looks like someone is going to have to play on a Thursday like we did in 2004. But since Tyler is a lot farther away than our Week 3 Opponent, Arlington Martin, looks like we are going to have to take up the Thursday night game once again :mad:

On this end (Permian), they are telling us week 2 for the game and that it will be a Friday night.

Hope so, can't take a Thursday night trip to the metroplex. :eek:

The hard schedule should be final next week. There's talk that we might not have a bye week prior to district. Can some of you Tyler Lee folks let us know what you hear? When and where? We lost some SR.S and the best backfield in the state graduates. Our O line will be big and faster than last years. The D lost 5 or 6 starters and they really started to gel in the playoffs. Our QB has a rifle and 3 returning WR'S. Nance and Handy will be very, very hard to replace, but we have a couple of little studs that I think will surprise some folks. Don't know if we are state material, but we'll make some noise. Don't want to make any predictions this early.

According to this mornings Ft Worth paper we open against Tyler Lee at Pennington, and have MOJO at Pennington on Sept. 15. Then we go to Waco. Hard schedule should be out next week.
