Hi,
I wanted to share a website with you that is a good idea to visit. It is www.familywatchdog.us When you visit this site you can enter your address and a map will pop up with your house as the small icon of a house and red, blue, green, dots surrounding your entire neighborhood. When you click on these dots a picture of a person will appear with an address and the description of the crime he or she had committed. The best thing is that you can show your children pictures and see how close these people live to your home or school. This site was developed by John Walsh from Americas Most Wanted. Another tool to help us keep our kids safe. Please pass on to anyone who has families.

I do...and the sad thing is....a few of them I grew up with and still see time to time. Go figure:confused:

That's not good. What crime did said person commit, because that's important.

Best thing about this is that the have pictures....you know WHO to keep any eye on.

You dont recognize any of the pics did you? I did.
theres is one like 4 houses down from my business...they raided there house a few weeks ago too..and yes i do recognise some..heck a lot..some of them i went to school with..geeezzz and i was the one who had a bad rep back then..crazy..

There are 56 total in Wichita Falls, but almost all of them live in the crappy houses and neighborhoods that I refuse to live in. They also like to live close to the schools.

That's the part that has me scared. A lot of kids in my neighborhood walk or ride their bikes to school.

according to that website, my house doesnt exist..i have a new house though, so it probally isnt updated yet

I put my house address from 5 years ago there - it was built like 20 yrs ago - and it didn't recognize it. Try just putting in Southlake, TX or Grapevine, TX.

A lot of them that don't like to change will take up residence near a school to try and have accerss to more victims...

In my neighborhood I have 17 with "Offense against Children", 2 "Sexual Battery", and 2 "Other Offense." Its a good thing it doesn't show other crimes because you wouldn't be able to see my neighborhood. It would be 1 big spot.

not many in southlake, thank god..i wonder if some of those are teenagers, doing stupid stuff...

i tried to guess where my neighborhood was on the southlake map, i did a pretty good job..theres NONE in my neighborhood

Put in a sunrise address and when you see all the dots, it is because there is not an elementary school in the sub division.

Look at the Candlewood area. There is one right across the street from candlewood elem.. And that new elementary, Hartman (i think) in the neighborhood next to Sunrise has a few right by the elementary.

son of a .... i actually did this thing for the helluva it and it pointed my neighbors as beeing sex offenders.... THERE FREAKIN OLD MAN HOW CAN THEY SEXUALLY MOLEST ANY ONE!

It's not Hartman, its Paschel, and 5 Offenders live within 1/2 mile.
Candlewood has 1 offender within 1000 feet, and 10 within 1/2 mile.
This deal doesn't have images for each of the offenders because if you look around Candlewood there are not 10 squares within 1/2 mile. Does this mean more than 21 are in Sunrise? thats kinda scary. Imagine if it DID have any/all offenses. That would be hilarious. Kinda like when you goto Google Earth and turn Bars/Clubs on and then put San Antonio so it is all within the screen, the CITY DISAPPEARS behind Bar/Club symbols. More than Austin.

About 5 years ago the express-news had done a story on the addresses of sex offenders. They showed at the time that most of the city's offenders lived in Sunrise because it was one of the few areas in town where there is not an elementary which was a condition of their release from prison.
type in Donna and Texas of course and youll see what i have to live with..
not sure if most of you know but the RGV is all conected together so all the cities are within minutes of each other..if you go left and right youll see the dots everywhere..crazy...
